how is the scrolling through for ipods? and quality of the touchscreen?
and the connector that comes with it is for the dock for the ipod right? so you can put it in ur glove box and just control everything from the headunit?
i boycott all dual products! went and bought a brand new dual xdvd 8183 today installed it and it works like crap! since my xdvd710 died ive been warrey of cheaper brands but thought nothing of it and tryed it again! so its going back! one word of advice buy quality brand name units that will work like there suspose to!
i have this unit and i love it but i cant change my screen from camera. you know why? and i left my remote on my car one day and drove off. you know where i can buy a new remote for it
ya i figured it out. i had the camera power wire hooked up. i got it now. thanks. ya i looked on ebay. but they dont have the remote for the 710. thanks for the help
i'm possibly getting the same one tomorrow, used for 200bux, just no remote, that a good deal? also, do you install it using the stock harness from stock radio or do you use the regular cd/mp3 player radio adapter harness??
well its kinda a good deal i picked mine up for 300 new at a walmart.. but ive since replaced it with a sony cdx unit. and you have to use the regular cd player adapter harness. new video of teh system comming soon thanks for the intrest and the comment!
this unit is a touch 7 inch screen.with full function remote. the ipod control is fully intergrated into the unit (touch screen as well) displays all info on the screen and on the closed blue lcd.

just the normal stuff mounting bracket screws had to buy the dash kit seperately

thats strange is it hooked up right??? did it come apart? something is happening.......bad luck friend my best bet would be ebay for the remote?

i have no no clue didnt hook up that wire...shhhhh! used a pass code so it will play with out it being in park or having the e-brake on!

its a good budget unit....plays everything i gotta clean my laser but other than that its great i have a ps2 hooked up to it and it plays great!
