Short campaign, lame story, not so great npcs, gameplay that many games years ago alrdy had, only thing they added was grabbing ppl by neck. Only thing that Crysis really had was graphics, but im not into graphics that much. I care bout gameplay and storylines. I hope in Crysis 2 they will actually see into gameplay. Story will still be lame: aliens invade, stop them, but i hope to see great gameplay.

To put this into perspective, some of the best games for PC's can be put up to 2100x 1500 resolution. Xbox's can manage roughly 1300x900 resolution. The PS3 can manage around 1980x1100. This is for the original Crysis. Resolution IS texturing, and since when did Killzone 2 come into it?

A console game comes optimized for the console... PC owners must optimize stuff themselves through sliders and preferable tweaking.

Fortunately, Cryengine3 works wonders with scalability.

Crysis 2 will probably have lower minimum requirements than it's predecessor... ar at least the same...

Crysis for PC depended on the system to run high settings.

Xbox360 and PS3 have graphics processors so they will have a pretty much constant setting.

So,

PC=better or worse depending on your system

XBox360 and PS3=constant without ability to increase any settings any more or any less.

For me thought its gonna be pretty much in the middle as I use a mainstream graphics card. Nothing beyond aax2 for me. Other than that everything is set to medium to high settings.

Ok the gameplay was great, ITS A FUCKING SHOOTER! they are all the same, personally i liked the alien twist, it added a better story then just a war against the koreans, Plus Crysis one was the opening of the triligy it had to show off the aliens, there technology, etc. to further the future stories (crysis2, crysis3)

All this talk about PC vs. Consoles... face it, its going to run better on PC, granted you have the hardware to run it. in shear power which this game demands PC wins.

I don't think that crysis is a bad game. I really liked the gameplay (until the alliens). The multiplayer was very fun to play because it has a lot of guns and vehicles.

I don't see how they could convert Crysis of all games into a console game. There is so much which goes on in that game HUD and control wise that it would be tricky control settings on a 360 / PS3 controller... I played on "high" custom graphic, and I do not argue, the high permission of textures, and многопональные models, it is-cool.

But these textures are looked ugly, and colours are chosen incorrectly... For example: assasins creed it is looked much more pleasantly (Though in my opinion A`sC - a piece of trash)
