No offense, but I don't think Velma would be able to come back to the movie. Logically speaking, the character was busted by the cops after cheating the tallies for "Ms. Hairspray". If she would be added to the cast still, there would be a bit of confusion. Leaving film critiques a reason to give the movie a thumbs down!
