  • @asspancakes182 Haha cool!

  • @asspancakes182 Thanks, and thats what I thought. and btw, what do you mean by illest? lol

  • What kind of glove does he have?

  • @Shhh0Im0Hiding I assume its a akadema since they sponsor him

  • no location whatsoever

  • Lazy catched

  • @TheWaver22 its obviously not a game situation, so why not?

  • Wait wait wait, He kind of hit the spot at 0:23!!

  • he should get a mask to match the rest of his equipment

  • Everyone who is talking about the pitcher probably couldn't hit the spot if they tried so STFU.

  • you can tell he's getting irritated with the pitcher lmfao

  • i love how in every video of him catching he is waring different catchers equipment with a different $300 glove

  • this mutherfucker is exactly like joe maueer

  • @GeorgeCabrales503 if he was exactly like joe mauer he wouldnt be such a doushe

  • @shockin9apples only a douche spells douche like doushe you douche

  • Gamercl cudnt hit a baseball even if he was using my penis

  • @mikematij2 im pretty sure hes catchin a baseball you idiot

  • @HAH4knight5 OBVIOUSLY YOU DUMB ASS A 12 YEAR OLD PITCHER

  • haha he does at 0:28 just sayin

  • good catcher

    terrible pitcher

  • i have his gear just baught it yesterday got everything except the helmet.

  • Is it just me or does he live in BAT-R-UP?

  • he is probably catching his brother because no one else will

  • If u had the arm he did or "better" whatever your name is would be a household name like his is. No need to hate, he's clearly phenominal

  • @thapride7 its too bad they have him playing 3rd base in triple A

  • @jacob12721 to bad he's in outfield

  • @littlepaddockthey had him at 3rd. didnt realize he went to outfield... prolly to gwet him to the pros quicker

  • feet are really close haha he like in a sign giving stance

  • Excellent catching technique, haven't seen someone catch a BP pitcher that well since.......... well no one really, why is this video relevant?

  • @Lambo460 You must be blind.

  • @noahmcdx Now Idk how your comment is relevant as well, did you seriously look back through past comments from a couple months ago?

  • @Lambo460 Your comment was 2 pages back.

  • @noahmcdx Fair enough, I ain't blind, I don't think he'll live up to the hype, If you have seen him play or played against him you would agree with me

  • @Lambo460 I don't think he'll live up to the hype, but I definitely think he'll be very good. It's hard to live up to the hype of being the next greatest player.

But honestly, as a catcher, he is terrible. He catches like most highschool catchers, with their legs tucked in and their bodies turned to the side. But what I've noticed is almost all of Bat-R-Up's catchers are terrible at receiving.

  • @noahmcdx Now we agree, he's got a great arm witch has allowed him to throw out high schoolers and community college base runners with else, but that slow transfer after receiving won't allow him to gun down say Carl Crawford or Andrew Mccutchen. He does catch the ball kind of douchey, my first comment was purely sarcastic about his catching technique lol

  • @Lambo460 Haha, I couldn't even tell.

  • @Lambo460 Nah his release is good enough with his arm strength, if he gets the ball out fast and throws a line drive one-hopper like Lou Marson of the Indians then he'll be fine. But he's going to be an outfielder anyways.

  • he has his swag and a good attitude. he loves the game of baseball and just wants to play it because it is his passion. i tip my cap to this kid, i mean i may not be more than just a college kid working towards even half a shot of what he has but he is legit.

  • What a bad pitcher man if he were a starter, i bet he'll walk his first five batters

  • what is he catching a 12 year old or something

  • I dont like his gear

  • bryce is sp pissed he has to cath this shitty pitcher

  • @siboundsthe4 I'm pretty sure it's an allstar

  • Can someone tell me what kind of glove he's using? Thanks, Anthony.

  • @SIBOUNDSTHE4 All-Star CM3000

  • hahaha look at his face after every pitch. hes so pissed off cause the kid cant hit his fuckin spots

  • harper's got soo much swag..

  • @jqu222 I think he has the right to have that much swag. He's the most talked about prospect since A-Rod

  • I hate to say this, can't wait so see him in the big leagues, but it's a good thing he's converting into an outfielder; watching him catch makes me cringe. Unfortunately more than anything else, proper catching mechanics are a bit of a rarity.

  • i got a all star and love it i got the one thats like 160 and it is real nice

  • what a bad pitcher.... he doesnt hit one spot hahah

  • @uscfan656 haha or maybe it's just becuase harper is setting up in the same spot every pitch.

  • @uscfan656 i know right...the pitcher must be like 10!... catch someone your own size bryce

  • glove has a nice pop sound

  • that glove looks too small

  • Thats one sexy mitt!

  • @TheMRemnesty yah its an allstar cm3000sbt

  • Comments or reviews on Wilson a2k catcher mitt?

  • @rynkns5 its sweet

  • c'mon pitch

  • hes catching a pen woopdi-doo..

  • @xTAYWESx id like to see you do half the shit he can do. ur just like all the other haters

  • @cam21fr horseshit i could do half the shit he could i garuntee i have a better arm and can field better hes gt me on hitting

  • @boobman543 So you threw harder than 96 off the mound at 17? You throw 100 plus from the outfield with a cro hop? I think not. Or, you'd be playing ATLEAST pro ball.

  • @xTAYWESx if u can sit that still and frame as well as him then talk but until then continue hating when hes in the pros and ur not

  • @boobman543 His catching blows. What are you talking about? What major league catcher catches like that? That's not how you catch. And he's not going to take instruction from anyone now if hasn't already learned.

  • yes he haaaas!!!!

  • hes using an all-star

  • anyone know wat glove hes using

  • @fight4yourright1 he's using the all star mitt. it's prolly the most popular catching mitt in the majors. Jason Varitex and Jose Molina use it.

  • @engelmen18 yes he is using an all star, but i would have to say its tied with wilson and rawlings on popularity

  • @ yeah ive personally have used a a2000 and its a decent mitt ; but i would love to use the allstar one day or even puchase it when i get the money

  • @engelmen18 ehh, no. Naming two catcher that use the glove does not make it popular. 75% of mlb catchers use a Wilson A200, or another brands model of the mitt.

  • they say he will be an outfielder, because of his speed and arm

  • @shuby10 no in single a hes starting at third

  • @Hack3r1998 Wrong .... he hasn't even signed yet.....

  • does anyone know if the all stars tend to run small or big in their sizes? like what the glove actually looks like compared to the given size?

  • at baseball expreesss they are a 33 inch model which is a perfesct size

  • This guy's an amazing catcher, but I kinda wish he played infield or somewhere like that. From what I've heard, he stole something like 36 bases and scored from second on passed balls/wild pitches. And he looks pretty damn fast when he runs to 1st base. Catching's gonna take a toll on his legs and knees, and I just wonder how many bases he'd steal if he wasn't catcher.

  • wow the pitchers doesn´t have control at alll

  • @bgsuball22. Aight thanks for the advice. I played catch with my friends 12.75 inch Primo and it felt really heavy. I'm just gonna go with the Pro Preffered =)

  • @countrykid96 @MLHoudArsenal14 @SEnsiStar32 I'm getting a new catchers mitt. I'm either getting the Rawlings Pro Preferred 2 Tone 32.50 Inch mitt, the Wilson A2000 32.50 Inch mitt, the All Star Pro Elite 32.00 Inch mitt, or the Rawlings Primo 32.50 Inch mitt. The Primo's leather is great but I'm concerned that the glove is too heavy. I want to know which glove is best for a 13 y/o catcher and if you used any of these gloves before. Thanks

  • @Tomdalla54

All these are good mitts. I would go with the All Star or the Pro Preferred though, the A2000's tend to break down very easily and the Primo is a very heavy mitt. Overall, The Pro Preferred will last you the longest and will run you around 300 and the All Star is slightly cheaper running around 250.

  • Hi all,

I was doing some research, and I was wondering. There is a Jason Gentile in the CT Area. He has blogs on him and is hell of the player. He has gotten compared to Harper saying Gentile is better. It's tough. There is a video of him on my channel, of him taking some Batting Practice. There were a few people watching and recording him with cameras. Tell me what you think!

    Thanks!

  • rawlings heart of the hide is the best catchers glove

  • kids just fluid with all his motions

  • wilson a2000 is my favorite catchers mitt, in one of his other videos he had the wilson

  • best catchers glove is the mizuno deguchi pro model. best glove i ever used

  • i dont know if this is even possible but he looks stronger
