Do you know if that one is much lighter than the 50cc or 52cc version? I'm trying to find or create one with a smaller, lighter motor but still mounted on the back. I want to be able to air with the motor being ok (cage over it with anti-shock materials stuffed in.)

I haven't seen a 50 or 52cc version, so I can't make a judgement... but I can't imagine it's much heavier than the larger version.

yea and Momentum + brakes + nothing to hold onto when you stop = you fly the fuck off reguardless of if the board stops your body is still going 40mph and you dont have anything to grab onto when the board comes to a stop... its physics the same reason why in a car when you wreck you can get hella hurt without a belt you keep moving even if the car stops.

Sure, but this board is not designed to go 40mph.. it's only a 33cc. Your feet and placed in metal straps - similiar to a snowboard, so that when you stop, you can remain standing on the board. The brakes are of the drum variety, so they take about 2-3 seconds to bring the board to a full stop.

actually according to what i learned in physics, if you were to stop at the limit of grip (wheels almost locking up) what matters is that the coefficient of friction between your shoes and the board is greater than between the tire and the road. that and good balance...

The foot bars are secured with bolts so you can't switch them... you could drill extra holes in the board and switch them that way.

Any unlicensed vehicle is illegal to ride on public roads in the UK. This includes petrol driven skateboards and mopeds.

The only place where you can legally ride them is private land. (You will need permission from the land owner if you dont own the land yourself)
