the problem is that the habs already have 3 d-men out, and would have to go to the farm to call another guy up. Their farm team is also still alive in the playoffs and they cant have anyone called up anymore unless its on an emergency basis or the farm team gets eliminated.

Bergeron will still stay in the lineup if a d-man comes back. They will just switch him to a part time forward role and full time d-man on the PP
