The ESC is telling you the four settings on the ESC (the 5th isn't audible only through setup which is voltage to the servo's which range from 5.0v, 5.5v and 6.0v)...read the manual on ESC setup. First set of beep is brake (1 beep=brake is disabled on yours) 2nd set of beep is electronic timing (3 beeps=yours is set to high timing) 3rd set beep is aircraft (2 beeps=yours set to helicopter soft start no governor) 4th set of beep is throttle response speed (3 beeps=yours is set to quick speed).
@ddj350z Three beeps doesn't mean the gyro is ready...the last three beeps meant the forth setting on your ESC is set to quick speed. I don't understand for the life of me why people buy these dangerous helicopters and don't take the time to read the manual and learn everything about it first. You post false info that new people read and confuse them further. As soon as you have your radio on and plug in the battery the gyro is ready to go. You can take off before the beeps are even done.
Who told you wind behind you is a mistake? That's the correct way, because the wind pushes away from you. Do you want wind to push helicopter into you? You did it right?
@bassax7045 Hey thanks mate :) I have been spending sometime on Real Flight so it was just applying what I learned on the sim to the real heli which was almost the same.
Though that didn't work out so well for the Belt CP V2 as it was so hard to even hover it.
the beeps are not the gyro, but the esc that tells you its programming. Listen for this these beeps every time you start up the heli so you are sure it is the right number of beeps. I learned this when the engine stopped completely in about 5 meter up and I had to make my first autorotation.
Looking good, keep it, it gets more and more fun every flight.

@trexinvert Safety wise, that would have been true. I was thinking more of trying to hit the tail. Your point was more valid, thanks!
