I was a HUGE Dixie & Tad fan. I quit watching after about 30 years when they killed Dixie off yet again in 2007 or so. Haven't seen it since.

They were incredible... and remember when he was supposedly dead in South America.... she was grief-stricken, but eventually she let Matt in to her life and began to love him.... and she and Matt went down there to try to find Cliff's body, but Cliff appeared ALIVE and he and Nina made love on the spot when he appeared..... and then she got PREGNANT? OMG, I'll never forget that storyline! I loved it!!!!

I was in NYC in 1983 and went to the old ABC studios and saw Susan Lucci coming out of the bldg at lunch time. I took her photo. Also "Jessie" and "Angie" came out of the bldg next. My cousin and I (both big fans of AMC) asked them to go to lunch with us but they said they already had plans! Pretty cool day in November 1983!

I am not a fan of soap operas. I did watch "Love ..." for ~two years. I talked about them to my then girlfriend and my Mom. But it was just an exercise - a fun game of something we had in common. I never got how tied up people get into those characters.

The only reason I watch AMC for years was because of Erica Kane. Notice AMC has not been nominated for recently. When was the last time this show won? At 61 yrs. old Susan Lucci can still carry this sorry show.

I use to be an AMC fan since I was a kid. AMC is not what is use to be. I stopped watching. The storylines are not that great. AMC was great in the 70's and 80's and early 90's. Since the 2000's it is not what it use to be. I love Jessie and Angie but still it isn't enough for me to comeback. AMC revolves too much around Kendall. Erica doesn't seem to have much of a presence in any storyline these days. Erica is the glue for AMC.
