It's an 8800 GTS 640 megabyte card, I can promise you that. The source of the slow down is, if anything, the single core processor which is now a quad core processor. Maybe I'll record something new now.

If it does, I wouldn't expect to notice it on these easier games. Perhaps when more advanced games start hitting the shelves, like Crysis, I may start to see some problems. But I haven't yet.

Yeah, its good ... its a demo though. Its in beta form, and its free, though you have to have bought some game like Counter-Strike to play it. Happily you can purchase it via download for fairly cheap.

Well, FRAPS ain't so good about its video stuff. Ask anyone ... the higher you set the FPS, the more your game itself starts lagging. And unless you have a super computer, you'll notice. I was trying to record the video without sacrificing my ability to see who was shootin at me in time before I was killed. ;-)

Haven't tried Fraps with the 8800 GTS, but I could record HL2 1152x864 2xAA at 30 fps with my old 6800XT and AMD Athlon XP 3200+ without any problems... must be poor compatibility if the GTS is struggling.

dude ur wrong i have a 320mb version i spawned like 60 hellknights but offcourse memory is important but u have to know its ur cpu measure the extra physics so i donno if 640mb version is that neccassary

with my xq6700 c2d is not prob at all so i would say its not that effectif unless u want more eye candy XD
