well I must say I was disappointed, A boarder line silly story, with very obvious cgi , but above all, I didn't understand the final scene, Like so many others who have posted here. However it was filmed quite well and even though I watched a dubbed version, it held my interest so-so, the equivalent of listening to music while doing something else...Im afraid for me it was mostly just eye candy..no pun intended lol.

What happened to the Pang Bros? I am a huge fan of their work. Love "The Eye", "The Eye 2" and "Re-Cycle". "The Child's Eye" is loaded with cheap scares, terrible acting and just plain ole weirdness; which is not normally known to be in Pang Bros. films. I am very disappointed with this film. So glad I didn't order the HK blu-ray version like I was going to. This film was almost too weird. The Pang Bros. need to reunite with Lee Sinje and make a real film.

Just recently saw it, though not in 3D. Objectively, I'd have to agree it was an average horror movie. It had few predictable scare moments, but how many more ways can we get scared, seriously. May in 3D it would be scarier. The ending was anti-climatic, no end of movie chase/escape sequence that kept you on edge. The actual ending....my interpretation was that since Rainie killed those two images/ghost/things that's why it ended that way.

Not being a Hater and all, but was really dissapointed... as i was really looking forward to d movie comparing it wif d eye in 2002 it was an insult. If only d producers spent more time wif d scripts and put more money into d film, it wud hav been something promising. Overall, its another horror movie to be forgotten and perhaps d Pang Brothers may require another revival.

What made "The eye" good because terror and fear build towards the end of the movie. I remember the ending of "The eye" movie was kinda memorable. However, the ending of this movie was not very memorable. The idea of this dog-human hybridisation is kinda poor, but at least the movie did manage to protray a decent and entertaining storyline with a few nice scares.

No offence 2 anyone but seriously, d movie is suc n epic fail compared to d superior the eye in 2002. D movie had a very lame plot n a forgetfull ending. Attempted scares were cliche and cheap; not 1 point in d movie did I felt any surge of adrenaline. Inappropriate uses of dark settings and obvious scare moments puts viewers off. Story-wise it was rather pathetic; i mean seriously dog-human hybridisation? D actors were atrocious, dey did not act as if they are put in dat real situation.

Rainie could defeat the ghost because she read the book. The guy points at rainie's book probably because he found out that rainie could defeat the ghost and was quite suprised. Not difficult to understand the ending if you think about it. I love such endings with full of suprises, they really make you think.

Unlike the movie 'Paranormal activity' and its following movie 'Paranormal activity 2' were it slooooowwlyyy builds tension. I would rate it at least 3-4 out of 5. How can u kill something that is already dead? no, u would have to convince it to leave. This movie makes a lot of sense to a person who isn't even Asian (me). i personally think this is a good movie.
