For those of you that laugh, yes, speed stacking can be quite funny to watch and think about as something that ordinary people actually do. However, I don't do it because it actually does require a lot of discipline and practice. If you don't believe me, stop posting comments about it being dumb and try it for yourself. You'll be amazed at how difficult it is to do.

i didnt read the title of it... i was just casually watching it, didnt notice the timer, just saw a bunch of kids playing with some empty cups; there was even a guy there to make sure they didnt steal any.

I thought maybe some under-privileged kids got taken out to play with some cups for their 1 day out a year from the orphanage... then they cheered after they each had a play and put the cups back the way they found them.
