yeah I saw it and I thought it was very well done. its just sad that people that "claim" there DBZ fans cant see outside the box nor did they do there homework. cause if they had they would know Akira Toriyama personally gave his stamp of approval for the movie. Thus making it an indirect Akira work. not to mention they had to change some things to keep it in the real spectrum. the lost kingdom already did the whole monkey king thing so lets give the movie the respect it deserves.

Just to point this out, Toriyama starts off skeptical on his opinion about this adaptation, yet says he looks forward to it. However, months after the release Toriyama has been awfully quiet about DBE, don't you think?

Whether you like the movie or not, that's your opinion and I accept it. The main problem I have with DBE is that I don't think it's right to alter a story that's already set in stone.

It's like altering Superman's origins or giving Batman superpowers. You just don't do it.

Personally, It doesn't look as bad as they could've done, for example, if they actually tried to keep it the SAME. The anime effects used wouldn't work in live action at all. Since they knew they couldn't go the same way as the anime without it going epic failure, they went off the anime and tried to do their own thing.

Needless to say, I didn't particularly like the anime itself, but still be open-minded, It might not be the same, but it could still be good.
