He got something partially(and i do stress the word partial) right, many christian holidays are pagan in origin (Candle-mass for example), but they didn't steal so much as integrate to facilitate the assimilation of older beliefs to make the transition to Christianity easier. It does bother me that many of their original meanings have been lost due to this, but there are many of us who keep them alive.

But, they found it difficult, so they began to integrate elements of various pagan faiths into Christianity. Hell, some went as far as to say Ragnarok had already happened and that the two survivors were adam and eve. The animosity stems from those early days, and is fueled by constant hatred and ire heaped upon us by the more "evangelical" Christians.

I'm a Christian. I'm not offended by Týr's faith unless they're outright bashing my own (for example, there was something said about "nailing the naked Nazarene to the pagan cross" on the Ragnarök album), because it's hypocritical. Even so, this means that their songs are more relatable to people of all faiths. Even if they're singing about Norse mythology still, it's an allusion, and ambiguous to the listener.

The Sabbath came from Judaism, instituted by God as a day of rest. That's where we Christians get it from.
