I know that spot- passed it fast as well. I was struck at the number of people that would stop ON THE TRAIL to check their GPS, take a leak, chatter with their friends, participate in a circle...OK whatever.

In this video, people are parked on the trail because they're spectators at a crash. If any of those had stopped watching and turned their bike around, facing oncoming traffic with the headlight on, you would not have been hit.

Glad you were not hurt- sorry you had that happen.
