There was a kick in the Bradford-Wigan game, challeneg cup 2011, that was kicked from about 5 metres off his line by the bradford player, and went dead, I think that was further than this,
What grade is this? I hope it's not 1st grade. The kick is great no question about that. Aside from the kick however, they look like they're playing "park football" which is what we call the non-professional grades in Australia. Also nk7792 didn't mention whether his kicker kicked it dead on the full or not. If he kicked it dead on the full wouldn't it be the worst result for you're team and a good reason to choose another kicker? If he kicked it dead on the bounce, that's nothing special.
@rhizomatical . the player that fields the kick was at one time captainof great britain, i don't know who drops his pass but, the fella who drops on the ball also captained GB. The acting half, toured australia and played test match football, the guy he passes to did too, he passes to the fella who had dropped on it, (a former GB captain as I said) and he passes to another GB international who toured in 1984. The video quality is poor, and the conditions are shit, but the kick and try are good
the stadium is odasal stadium i think if you look at the start of the video the corner of the pitch has a slight slant and this is a common feature at the odsal stadium and its where bradford play and there at home so im pretty sure its at odsal and the the is no "downhill slope"
Lewis Jones kicked a goal from deep in his own half at headingley. So dunno how they count it, open play punt and conversion will probably be seperate.
I'm pretty sure it was Gary Bridge, an aussie who came to oldham from Balmain. He was a very good player but unfortunately missed a good few games through injuries.
90 metres from kick to pickup. That is special.

I think its from the old divison one (1st grade) mid 80's. That pitch is the reason we play in summer!!! lol

you dont see the ball land, so it may of just rolled part of the way instead of going the full length of the field in the air.
