  • 90 metres from kick to pickup. That is special.

  • There was a kick in the Bradford-Wigan game, challeneg cup 2011, that was kicked from about 5 metres off his line by the bradford player, and went dead, I think that was further than this,

  • very smart move 0:21

  • wow scrubs

  • Wth did I just watch?? That was a MONSTER!! And only 3 steps to contact with the ball! Im fricking gobsmacked

  • imagine gettting a kick like that to the nuts

    hahaha

  • yeah would be good to see it bounce on d full still great kick 90m

  • Didn't you guys see that, it was 90 metres, posts to posts

  • Could be helium?

  • i cant believe i just watched that shit

  • If i could see what was happening

  • What grade is this? I hope it's not 1st grade. The kick is great no question about that. Aside from the kick however, they look like they're playing "park football" which is what we call the non-professional grades in Australia. Also nk7792 didn't mention whether his kicker kicked it dead on the full or not. If he kicked it dead on the full wouldn't it be the worst result for you're team and a good reason to choose another kicker? If he kicked it dead on the bounce, that's nothing special.

  • I think its from the old divison one (1st grade) mid 80's. That pitch is the reason we play in summer!!! lol

  • Yeah but good try though!

  • YEAH salford had a good team tho, can remember being at the willows as a kid and losing a few times!

  • Odsal still looks like that now though!

  • @Chorltonian lmao yep

  • @rhizomatical . the player that fields the kick was at one time captainof great britain, i don't know who drops his pass but, the fella who drops on the ball also captained GB. The acting half, toured australia and played test match football, the guy he passes to did too, he passes to the fella who had dropped on it, (a former GB captain as I said) and he passes to another GB international who toured in 1984. The video quality is poor, and the conditions are shit, but the kick and try are good

  • you dont see the ball land, so it may of just rolled part of the way instead of going the full length of the field in the air.

  • big kick to get em down that end, then old mate knocks it on lol

  • So if you are so in the know. Which stadium is this ? Oh and were you there ? Probably no to both you jeb end

  • the stadium is odasal stadium i think if you look at the start of the video the corner of the pitch has a slight slant and this is a common feature at the odsal stadium and its where bradford play and there at home so im pretty sure its at odsal and the the is no "downhill slope"

  • tis Odsal, yes. Plus, Watersheddings didn't look owt like that.

  • Lewis Jones kicked a goal from deep in his own half at headingley. So dunno how they count it, open play punt and conversion will probably be seperate.

  • was this kick wind assisted

i saw a melbourne storm player at elland road kick it full out from the k.off this year

  • from a kickoff is nothing, our kick taker in and under 15's team kicked it dead 4 times in one season off kickoffs

  • that happens every couple of games its not really that rare iv seen many teams do that

  • what were the teams?

  • ERM THE CLUE IS IN THE TITLE

  • *blink*

  • LMAOOOO

  • lol, ppl on youtube never look at title or descriptons before commenting...

  • Yeah in those days in bradford they had that special bouncy mud, that must of been it.

  • it wasnt realy a long kick it just bounced a fewtimes

  • from goal line to goal line i think is a fucking big kick

  • I'm pretty sure it was Gary Bridge, an aussie who came to oldham from Balmain. He was a very good player but unfortunately missed a good few games through injuries.

  • It looks like Mick Burke did he not play for Oldham around that time?Could be wrong.

  • ave u got another copy in better quality and show who kicked it

  • shame there was no 40 - 20 back then. but i didn't matter;-)

  • @LukeSykes83 Why would that have made a difference? The ball didn't go out!

  • thats fair big :o

    OMG!

  • fucking hell, it even beat the cam to it lol

  • omg

  • brilliant
