You hear me. So what? So what if that was 100 percent true? Why is that a bad or offensive thing? All the main characters have major character flaws that they never fully resolve or change in spite of their "lessons", but we love them anyway. Why? They're REAL. They're flawed, and believable creatures within their own world.
This is the only part I actually didn't like of Derpy. The rest was just fine, but this was laid on quite thick. It feels awkward frankly.
With that said, I think it would be cool if they had a episode featuring Big Mac and Derpy together. Perhaps the gang goes on a expedition, and Derpy and Mac get separated from the group somehow. Make it a lesson about diverse teamwork perhaps. :3

While it was cool Derpy got lines, I think too many people are focusing only on that. It was a great developmental episode for Applejack, and it had awesome pinkie and rarity scenes too.
Derpy's awesome, but I think people need to concentrate on what was really the point of the episode.

While it was cool Derpy got lines, I think too many people are focusing only on that. It was a great developmental episode for Applejack, and it had awesome pinkie and rarity scenes too.
Derpy's awesome, but I think people need to concentrate on what was really the point of the episode.

@MetaTriforce1 True enough, but you gotta admit this happening eclipsed the rest of the chapter... I mean, come on, Derpy became canon and talked! And it's obvious that Hasbro and the Hub made this for us bronies, because i seriously doubt that any 7-year-old girl who watch the show on TV see the implications of Derpy talking as we bronies see it.
Now we know why AJ didn't get a single blue ribbon, the big prize of this chapter went to Derpy :P
