The article in Self Magazine was not truthful. All but one of the physicians mentioned in the article were NOT TRAINED by Dr. Gandhi. Also, the fact that said complications talked about in the article can occur under general anesthesia as well as local anesthesia, which they chose not to mention. The question is not whether awake breast augmentation is safe, it's wheter the phyiscians are competent. Shame on Self for trying to confuse one thing with another.
