what firmware update was that. My picture is real grainy & I can see sqaure pixel boxes. 32 inch HD tv. & 1.5 TB FreeAgent Hard drive. movies freeze up but Audio keeps going & I stopped it & Replayed it & its saying Fetal system error restart. the device did not come with a USB cable so I cant plug it into my computer to update the Firmware. this will be a Mystery !!!

It can read subtitles built into the .mkv file. I have several movies that does that especially ones that have more than one subtitle in one .mkv file.

With the new firmware 1.01.01 it reads SRT (UTF-8), SMI, SUB, ASS, SSA also if they are built in a mkv file.

is this good for anime ? .mkv and ogm or mp4 files like mkv or ogm have multiple audio tracks japanese/english can you switch it with this?
planning on buying one so need to know
