@countrymusicgtavboy2 Well, there were a few major wrecks for CN in the maritimes in the diesel era. One was this one and another was a head on between a CN freight and CN passenger on a blind curve on the Gaspe at Point a la Garde, QC, back in 69'. Two men were killed, the fireman on either train, who didn't have time to jump because of the position of where they were sitting compared to the doors. One of them was my great uncle. This was years before I was born but both are interesting.
my dad remembers this, he was jogging on the train tracks, and she came around the bend blowing her horn like mad, and then he came across the wreck in about an hour!
this gives ya an erie feeling or is it just me?
