The sad thing is that YouTube was a very good source for listening to musicians and decide what to buy. I didn't buy any Sparks until I had the chance to have a proper listen on YouTube, I have bought all their albums. The same goes for Yello and Alphaville, every song I have by them is bought and that is because I can pick the songs I like on iTunes. Now I started to buy Fabrizio de André too and him I heard for the first time on YouTube. The companies are digging their own grave.

It's not exactly youtube fault. The labels don't seem to realise its not 1986 anymore. The internets here to stay. I have found loads of new bands through youtube. Which has led me to buy lots of those bands cds. So actually there starving new acts because of their copyright bullshit ¬¬

@MissMael I almost do all of my premusic buying by researching here at YouTube. The radio isn't the place to go anymore as they don't pick up the good songs. Most recently I bought Credo by The Human League after watching Night People video here on Youtube. I gave me a taste of what the album would be, and glad I purchased it.
