heyy my machine heads on mi vintage have come loose and i dont know how to tighten them there not like the ones on a fender so i wonder if you could hap me thanks.
I soundtested an Epiphone and Vintage SG in the shop and walked away with the Vintage. Build quality not as good, but much better (grittier) sound. Epiphone was dull.
hi fenderguy, thanks for the comments. This was a rough improv i did on this guitar, it wasnt meant to be a note for note reconstruction of the classic angus solo.
hi . finaly some one on youtube who doesnt take it personal what you say .youtube is full of people who read what is said the rong way and take effence. i can see you are not one of these people haha. yes mate i understand your reply . i didnt meen anything disrespectfull mate just what i noticed
I think i goin to get this exact model and colour, are there any good or bad points you can tell me, plz be truthful cos i dont no much about guitars. im 11 and been playing for a couple of years would it suit me
It's a great SG copy, it's way better than the epihone. i have a 57 classic + p/u in the bridge, it beats my friends sg special by a long shot. get it you won't regret it
Hi Dude, I also need advice! Im getting some money for my birthday next saturday and i want an SG! The only thing is I dont know weather to get an Epiphone G-400 or a vintage VS6!
Im an experienced player. I have played for 4 years]
hi..my best advice is to try them both and see which one works best for you. I am a big supporter of the VS6 but would still be keen to try everything before making a decision...good luck
really? i didnt know that. also the neck/body joint is a lot more sturdier on the vs6, meaning it has better sustain. i have 57 classic + in the bridge, it sounds even better than stock
really, are they wilkinson deluxe machine heads? mine did, but i put some white grease in the small whole, on the bottom of the machine head. if they problem continues, take them off and put some lok-tight on the loose screw.
i had my heart set on the v100gt as i have always wanted a gold top, but i have been told that the mini humbuckers arent very good for rock and stuff with lots of distortion. i dont play like slayer lol but i play rock/electric blues
so i looked at the other v100's but didnt like any of the other colours, so ive landed on the vs6 cherry red.
my only worry is aparently the neck is really wide and awkward to play?? is this correct??
Hi mate, the gold top uses the soapbar pickups which are quite similar to single coils. They are very noisy when using high gain. It is the only aspect of the gold top that i dislike.
The VSG has quite a thick neck on it, i dont find it too uncomfortable to play but i definetly prefer a les paul or strat neck.
Check out the vrs100...it ticks all the right boxes..seriously.
Check out my other vid "Vintage VRS100 Karacha Demo" to hear it.
Good choice, the black looks great. I know what you mean about the tuners, i have considered upgrading the tuners on my vrs100. The stock tuners are great for the money but more experienced players might want to upgrade.
just bought a vintage vs6 in gloss black-luv it-the only thing i'm concerned about is the tuners-my have to upgrade to grovers, but overall,a sweet guitar.....
Hi starmaker2193..The Vintage sg would most probably do the job for you, also the vrs100 made by vintage should not be overlooked...gorgeous cleans and distortion with bags of character and sustain. check out karacha for the full range
im looking for a guitar that sounds good acoustic or with little distortion but doesnt need loads of distortion to get the best out of it should i get this or would you recommend something else

I am looking to get a SG shape guitar, and this is the only one in budget. Would you recommend it over others?
Satanseviliertwin 2 years ago 7
vintage guitars are the closest thing to a gibson sg out there, the closest copy, well above epiphone, anyone who wouldn't recomend it is a fool.

@Satanseviliertwin definately its fantastic its better than an epiphone
