how did they take off the bracket that wraps around the very back tooth? Did it hurt? I am getting them off on Monday and that is the only part I am nervous about! Your teeth look great by the way!!
@cutetwe I can't remember exactly how they did it but it wasn't too painful, it ached a little though (then again, that was just me. It may hurt a little for you). I assure you, you will be fine. I don't think it's too painful, particularly when you compare it to them tightening your braces. Aww thank you very much! :D
@shevaughny Thank you :D I wasn't very comfortable with my teeth back then, that's why I was moving a lot. Also, talking to a camera with the risk of family interrupting is always a bit of a risk.
@shevaughny Hehe thank you, my hair is longer now. It actually makes me cringe looking back because I never styled my hair or anything before, I'm now a lot more conscious about my hair and clothing, it's quite funny xD Oh well :P I haven't done a video in AGES, I don't know what to do one about :P

I've had my braces for about 5 years now and get them off in two days. I've had many mouth surgeries and procedures but hopefully they will come out looking as nice as yours!

@dimaggi14 i've had braces for 5 years too. including bone minipulation and stuff with my upper jaw being tiny. i went to the orthodontist today and found out that i get mine off on the 11th of may :) YEY for amazing teeth! :D
after almost a year... does your tooth feel better now? i mean like not so much extra saliva and eating better? My teeth feel kind of loose and icky lol.
@ampedpumpedstokedout Yeah they do - again, it's getting use to a smooth surface because I remember licking my teeth because of the smoothness. Eating is better too, any aches you may experience (especially with retainers) will ease, everything will feel 'normal' too :D
i just got mine off today, and i was wondering... did you feel like your smile looked unreal of not so good after the braces were off? by like the color and so on? If so, did that look and feeling go away? Im curious of if my smile will look more normal after a while or if the darkened color will go away in a while? my teeth were real white before the braces, but now they aren't that white after the braces removal.. =/
@ampedpumpedstokedout YES! I remember looking and I felt as if my teeth were giant and I cringed to look at my teeth. Don't worry, that's perfectly normal and pretty much everyone will see that - you're so used to having metal on your teeth, it was hard to imagine what your teeth looked like without them and yes, you'll get used to it. :) I'm sure the colour thing is the same thing too, maybe that will become normal too. Show the world your smile when you're use to it :D
@ampedpumpedstokedout No problem :D I had the clear ones (called Essix Retainers) and I think soon I won't have to wear them (my next appointment is in a few weeks) :)
@Lightning741 how exciting! congrats ;-) Yeah i have the clear ones also but i really dislike them. Im thinking of getting the Hawley- wired ones. Hopefully they won't feel like snug/tight as the Essix ones.
