Thanks for the vinyl! I haven't heard Neil on an lp since I bought Rust Never Sleeps. This song has always reminded me of an epic Western -- How the West Was Won (1963).
I had a recordplayer like that and playing Harvest diferent collor thou white and blue it was. Those where the days, wish they'd come back.haaa...memories!
Thank you for posting this wonderful song. I proposed to my girlfriend while Neil was playing this song at the Bridge School Benefit 2010. Needless to say, this has become our song.
Wow, I can't believe nobody's been able to put a decent version of this song up on Youtube. I appreciate the memories of the old record player and at least you offered the record version, rather than a live version, but the sound is terrible.
@coashddjj2 I've seen quite a few on youtube, although the ones i like better are neil young's live versions with just himself. I love the song much more without the fiddle and banjo for some reason. But it IS very weird this about the only studio version lol.

@coashddjj2 - Warner Music Group's stormtroopers pull them down as soon as they're posted. They don't appreciate the free advertising.

@coldplays179 Yeah the quality takes a dump as they get old. The magnetic tape was never designed to last this long.

La sonorité de la platine se prête parfaitement à cet hymne aux vagabonds. Superbe.
