It was a reference to the fact that he was still campaigning for the democratic election and it was JUNE. While she was being criticized for still campaiging -- as if she was drawing it out and dividing the party.
To make her point she quickly referenced to elections that was memorable to her which were still going on in June.

Kennedy had just won the California primary and most people believed he would have gotten the nomination had he not been assassinated. If you ask most people today they probably wouldn't know that as he is seen as an icon. She is trying to say, rather ineffectually, is that she isn't going to give up until there is absolutely no hope of gaining the nomination.

Ugh... I never really had a problem with her, and would have voted for her gladly. But this always bothered me- even if I can't say exactly why. From what I've read, Bill Clinton had pretty much wrapped up the nomination that year. Her case was entirely different. Looking back, I'm grateful that Obama won. He countered the Clinton's cynicism. No, Obama has been groomed for 30 years to slot into office. Everyone loves Obama thus he is a fine candidate to start The New World Order and to take away our rights. The Federal Reserve control us - one of the reasons why Kennedy was killed was because he tried to shut it down (at least part of it). Obama cannot do anything, he is a puppet for the shadow government.

she's saying that elections aren't a certainty until late. her hubby's election wasn't wrapped up until june. bobby kenedy was asassinated while celebrating his california primary victory. his death ended his campaign, showing that elections aren't always a certainty.
the interviewer understood it, so why can't anyone else?

I think all she's saying is that it has happened in the past where the Democratic nominee is still not decided by June. She's quoting both her husband who didn't gain the nomination till June and Robert Kennedy who was still on the campaign trail when he was assassination in June.
