  • If it is so, than why it cliks when the gripper openes?

  • yes you are right. The first click is metal on glass and the second is the SMC chuck opening. The valve itself is quiet, made of all plastic and you can hardly hear it in real life. The reason everything seems loud is because of the AVC (automatic volume control). It is deceiving. You would not be bothered by it in real life. Indeed in many industrial and even laboratory environments you would be hard pushed to hear anything at all.

  • Noisy valve, othervise perfect!

  • no what you can hear is the metal grippers closing on glass tubes. We would normally line the grippers with thin rubber then you don't hear it. Plus the whole thing is not as loud as it seems. It all depends on recording volume.
