All I do know is there is going to be a lot of speed when the offense takes the field. I'm not hating on Maclin, but history tells us that DJax is the exception, not the rule. Personally, I would have liked to see Philly trade for another No. 1 receiver because I have never seen what DJax can do with single coverage. Whoever the other receivers are out there with DJax should see plenty of opportunities though.

nsneed77, you're way off. Jackson catches just about everything: balls thrown behind him, at the ground, jump balls with perfect coverage, the deep pass, Mcnabb bullets, lofts, whatever it is. He could easily be a top 10 receiver in the league next year. He's the full package and now, he'll be that much more familiar with the plays. Maclin will not even be one of the Eagles top 5 receivers. Route running stinks and comes from a spread offense. McCoy will have a much bigger impact.

SportsUploader88, I wouldn't go far as to say the Eagles would have sucked, but DJax was the perfect addition to a good Eagles team. He was the elite receiver McNabb needed, plus he gives them great field position on specail teams. It's all about field position in the NFL. Jackson is easily good for 8+ td's next year. I still think the Eagles need a good 6'4-type receiver for redzone situations, but every team could use that type of player. Burress would be perfect.

to be honest we did suck. we tied the bengals. we just got into the playoffs. but we plyed good in the playoffs but 1 games. jackson and our defense was the only reason we did anything.  mccoy wont be all that good sorry but he might not. hope he is. and we got a new tall tight end dont tou remember that. burres though?? we dont need him he isnt any good as shooting himself we dont need that. unless he shapes up. hope we do get him. or chad johnson. maybe idk about him. all i can say is goeagles
