@BL4D3RUNN3R0M3N Because that's what people wanted, and because they actually told people pre L4D2 release that they were going to make it so Left 4 Dead 1 maps worked in Left 4 Dead 2. Seems they found out there is too much to change with the new infected that they've just started reworking the campaigns. Oddly enough so far I've found all of them are very different from their counter part in L4D.

The PC version is all ready out. Valve says that the 360 version will be out later this summer but does not give an exact date. So once again the PC gamers get the benefits with that game while the 360 gamers have to wait. Go to Left 4 dead blog to read more about it
