She was not excepted by her own people here in Barbados, she had to go to Germany where she was respected and excepted, what a shame. She will be missed by me, four years have gone, but i still think of her.

backupbajanboy, please don't generalise. I have always admired her talent and I was very saddened by her passing. Unfortunately your statement possibly applies to the persons who promoted music and worked in that industry back then. For me she is one of the best singers that was born in these shores.

@bajangirl70 I agree with you. That statement is too general. Many of us here in Bim loved her and love her muic so to make such statements will make people think that the whole of Barbados was against her and made her leave, which is not the case.

A beautiful woman and a great talent. I remember her on CBC television in Barbados sitting on a stool singing Beautiful and Unspoilt. She is missed by her homeland but her memory lives on.

WOW!!!!!! checked her out on a flight to europe around 2000 from Barbados while working as a passenger agent and she really inspired me to follow what i felt inside!!!! I just decided to run a search!!! Thank you!!!! Blessed!
