Although it's always a matter of opinion as to what is the best game ever I would not argue for a second with anyone who named this as it. Ron Gilbert, the creator of the first 2 games, had nothing to do with it. Sorry Ron but this game has a script about as sharp as yours was, although your entries were more challenging and classics in their own right. The animation and music on 'Curse' are absolutely superb. All the Monkey Island games should be released on one disc on the Xbox360 and PS3.

I would have to believe that this is one of the best games ever. Great graphics with a fun cartoon feel. Amazing unforgettable soundtrack, great voice acting that fits the once silent text characters into living and lovable cartoon characters. A game has never made me laugh so hard in my entire life, many comedy movies just dont even come close. Even though its funny, you still get into the story line that is actually pretty deep. CMI shall be a legend in my heart

An official at Lucasarts said while their plate is currently full admittedly with Star Wars games they haven't completely abandoned the property and WOULD like to get back to MI eventually. And since the prequels are done things are starting to settle down maybe theyll get back to other games too. Unfortunately SW DOES draw in the big bucks.
