All one has to do is look at all the 'if's in the clip of Dawah from Thunderf00t's own video. Dawah wasn't saying, "I'm coming to kill you" as Thunderf00t says. Experience would show that "the best of the Muslims" are actually more or less Atheists in all but name, but are simply too scared of "the rest of the Muslims" to say it out loud. I do not see TF's "sleeping giant" thing as a threat, but an attempt to pursuade the Islamic men of violence of the folly of mistaking the world's tolerance for weakness. It's not just the USA, it's everywhere, Spain via India to Bali. A justified response to violent attack is not equatable with the use of violence to oppress those who may disagree with one's beliefs.

All one has to do is look at all the 'if's in the clip of Dawah from Thunderf00t's own video. Dawah wasn't saying, "I'm coming to kill you" as Thunderf00t says. Bigotry is more dangerous than religion. In fact, *most* of what makes religion so dangerous is the bigotry that it often inspires against those who don't believe the same thing. That's one reason that atheists are resentful of Christianity--that fools like the Pope and Pat Robertson blame us for everything from the holocaust to feminism ;D.
Unfortunately, bigotry explains why this hasty misunderstanding wasn't cleared up months ago. Nothing "rational" about it-just juvenile and ignorant.

It is freedom of speech & is why whistle blowing laws are in place to protect whistle blowers from prosecution - I don't know what the US deems as whistle blowing, I would say it would interupt their oper terrorism laws, so theet I don't know any precedent.

He singled out an individual & despite the video's Dawah can maed, TF chose to ignore that. He now has combined the two into what seems to be directly showing the face of a terrorist to Ali when Ali has every right to contact TF's employers & by TF's own assurance, would be laughed at by the board that hires him. This is far more detrimental to DF only in the way TF has now tied in the extreem angle.

You speak as if he WAS going to get fired & even if he did, employers have a right to employ staff as per contract.

@ScouseCaspaXS Actually freedom of speech kind of DOES mean freedom from consequences. If not, it isn't really freedom of speech. The only "consequences" of my speech should be that, in turn, I need to be acceptant that you can use YOUR speech to rebut what I have to say. The only legitimate exceptions are verbal threats and words that can be so intrinsically reckless as to endanger the immediate safety of others.

There is not something intrinsically evil about thunderf00t which causes HIS subs to be more likely to seek out docs than any other group of people. It's wrong whoever does it.
Thunderf00t's freedom of speech is not regulated by what some small % of his subs might do. The only thing I'm defending is freedom of speech - Ali's too.

TF's subs are known to do this & TF was personally involved with the safeguard of VFX's doc's from that.
Now tell, what assurance would you give a jury that would suggest that given past track record that focussing upon an individual in the same, if not more extreemist way, would pose a valid threat to Ali - given track record here, no conjecture or assumptions.

I'm not sure you have a deep understanding of the legal system. Thunderf00t has down nothing for which he would have to give an account of himself before a jury. If he WAS in front of a jury, regarding his freedom of speech and whether he was abusing it, he wouldn't have to defend his right to say the things he has, due to the actions of a few of his subs. It just doesn't work that way.

Hang on - freedom of speech in a public domain IS public domain. What are you nuts? Employers actually have a duty to their shareholders to employ staff that suit their image & for non floated companies, image is everything. So there is no violation of freedom of speech especially when TF broadcasts on a public domain & uses his 100k+ sub base to single a person out to harrass in the most disingenuous ways as he refused to update his rhetoric per dawah later vids.

Dixie, I said so in my previous comment and his actions were far more harmful because he dropped someones docs too, putting not only them but their family at risk.
Wrong, he tried to find TF's docs, he never contacted his employer and he did so to highlight the shit Thunderf00t was saying. Whilst I don't support what he tried to do, I completely understand why he tried to do it. Also Dawah supported DMD and encouraged other Muslims to take part in it it.

I see that the Dawah drama was actually used as much as possible to springboard draw a ham day which would have felt like a snowball turning into an avalanche to Ali. The attention drawn his way at that time would have been overwhelming & completely hounding.
What I do find earie is the 'lack' of Islamic rhetoric from Pat coincided with tf'rs 'enthusiasm' & that's totally paranoid talk I know. petting now !!
