@RiotMoshPit Yes you have to get the table and go other to the painting by the fireplace goign out to the door he will ask for his snitch go other to the potrait near the entrance to the boys dormaty and climb on and speak to him and you should get the snitch

Here's what solved it for me at the last books: pull one out with accio (you don't need all of them) and then cast accio on the flying book again.

Okay, I figured out the mysterious action, I believe. You do have to accio the books off the shelf, but make sure the snitch is flying around somewhere in the room. When you accio the books they will beeline for the snitch, and the discovery points will come flying at you. If you don't see the snitch, and you already caught it, leave for a bit, explore so it has to reload the Common Room, and do it immediately. I've done it twice and it did it both times.

Accio the book, then do Wingardium Leviosa. That worked for me (I was stuck on 45% at that point).

The Way I Caught The Snitch Was Stood Near Were The Table Is Nd Kept Pushing The Action Button Till I Caught It. and the get the potrait password in the dungeon you have to wear invisibility cloak and go to the potrait entrance (the one in the dungeon corridor at the bottom of the grand staircase)

Go back to the portrait.

You will overhear the password.

Take the cloak off.

* Use Depulso on the 4 beds

* Use Incendio on the furnace

* On one of the beds there is a toad. Use Action on it.

So that would mean you do understand chess.

But I can't make a walkthrough of a chess match, since there aren't any set moves the champion will do. And because I also had some trouble beating this champion.

you need to wear harry's invisibility cloak at the gryffindor room,and then you walk down at the dungeons under the grandstaircase,you will see there's two slytherin student speaking the password to the potrait..i've done it.the potrait got shocked when i speak the password!!
