Both sides do not like the media's coverage on what they think (or know) is true. Different countries have different biased reports, i think for example that american media is pro-Israel and the british media is pro-Gaza. A fair test to see what way a news report is biased is if you tally everytime the different sides gets to speak (both tallies should be equal) and if you listen to the way the media present it, this usually will follow the tally.

I was there and I can tell you that the police were hitting people randomly and indiscriminately. Born you have obviously never been caught in the middle of something like this. There were a small number of men throwing shoes but there were many more peaceful women and children in that crowd. The police did not care about the small children they simply lined up and started clubbing anyone within reach. I didn't get any video of the initial charge as I was too busy trying not to get clubbed whilst also trying to keep myself between the police and this group of young girls behind me. It was brutal and all out of proportion to what was occurring.
