Ja, der R8 war, ist und wird immer ein Erfolgsmodell sein. Wie Du schon richtig angemerkt hast, hat sich Audi aus dem Nichts zum unangefochtenen Sieger entpuppt. Nun kann man LeMans und Audi nicht mehr von einander trennen. Was Sie auch anfassen, wird ein Erfolg. Ich bin froh,dass ich das miterleben konnte.
Agree. Changing the transmission in such short time still gives me goosebumps. Do you know if there is any video of that on youtube? I have been trying to find that, to no avail. I remember the commentators of Speed going crazy after the car went out

Probably one of the best Prototype race cars of all time, and I'll never forget the rear end change at LeMans that took less than 5 minutes.
