I'm sure I will be in the minority with this but, IMO the character Amy Pond is the worst companion ever in Dr Who history. There isn't any real chemistry between the Dr and Ms Pond. I like Karen Gillan as an actor, but the way they wrote her character in the show is just plain awful. I wish Karen well in what ever she's in next, but I for one won't be missing Amy Pond when shes gone. I would like to see Donna or Rose brought back, but they can't be.

@priamyvate FYI I've watched them all. I'm not a 15 year old kid and Christopher isn't my first Dr Who, but I bet he's yours. And it still doesn't change anything. Amy Pond is a badly written character and there isn't any chemistry between Dr Who and Amy Pond. Badly written character, all there is to it.

Hmm.... I think ms. Gillan have to do a little self-google if she wonders about her popularity and if she will be missed as Amy Pond. But there a fine line between being "enthusiastic" and being outright mad. It would be a shame if ms.
