On the other hand, Perks is such a strong novel that I'm wondering if Chbosky will really be faithful to it in the movie. It wil be great if he dares, and it will be a huge step away from Hogwarts for Emma. She will be "infinite."

I know some people think 'Perks' is overrated, but it really touched me and is one of my all time favorite books.

I'm a little nervous to see Emma play Sam, just to see how well she can transfer to a character like that but I must say Logan Lerman, in my opinion, was casted perfectly as Charlie. I can't wait for the movie.

Emma is beautiful, but the only problem I have with her playing Sam is that she doesn't have green eyes which is charlies favorite feature. Even if she wore colored contacts it wouldn't be the same. I thought she would have been a good fit for Charlie's other sister as opposed to Sam. Also I'm wondering how's she's going to pull the American accent off. I can't wait to see it. :D So glad they're finally making it into a movie. I've read the book 14 times so I hope it measures up.

You should read it. It's a beautiful book. It involves sex and drugs but, it's more than that. Emma's character is a druggie but not a whore although she engages in sex. Ugh, it sounds bad when I phrase it like that but, this book will change your life. I encourage you to read it.
