O_o this is the very first time i've ever heard (or even heard of) this song.. it is strange, i call people dear to me "little lamb." i am in love with this song.
I absolutely love this seemingly simple tune that has so much hidden in the lyrics. I bought the album "Red Rose Speedway" back in '72 when I was in the Navy. This song made me feel uplifted; it still does.
I wouldn't say Red Rose Speedway was awful. It just wasn't great. It was a disappointment. It's embarrassing in spots, but awful, no. Many of the songs, especially this one, would be considered masterpieces if they were surrounded by better songs.
While Red Rose Speedway was a pretty awful album, I always liked this tune...a lot. Sappy and sentimental, I know, but that's Paul in a nutshell. Love it.
@socrates1818 - I see him as a really nice guy. He has a very nice, healthy sense of humor about himself. He got casted as an asshole, trying to get the Beatles to work together, all the while being cussed at. And when the Beatles split, he got mad. He was a little bit of a workaholic but most genuises are. He is a little too pop but that may pay off in the long run.
Bravissimo.
I like this uplifting tune and I believe it is about more than a lamb and dragonfly; John perhaps? It is suggested here by others but it is hard to say. Melody in the forefront as usual. Nice.
I love dragonflies, I started to love dragonfly's when my sister passed away 15 years ago, i was listening to this song and then words just made me break down and now every-time I see a dragonfly, i think of my sister.
"Dragonfly - Fly by my window.... since you've gone ... I miss you so..."
I believe this song have messages for John too. The process of writing (lyrics, poetry, especially) is often something that comes from the unconscious. Maybe Paul started this song moved about a little lamb who died. But it is obvious that at a point, the song it is directed, and inspired by, other subject, more personal, more close.
This is openly for John. Maybe Paul felt too self-conscious about this, and hided the true meaning.
I just love this song I never get tired of this song... it still sounds so fresh to me since I first heard when I was 12 or 13 yrs. old... I love you Paul... I love the Beatles...
@davidbelkevitz1311 - I think Martha My Dog, always been his inspiration, died around this time. That could explain why Red Rose Speedway sucked.
From the Wiki on Martha My Dear, "The title "Martha My Dear" was inspired by McCartney's Old English Sheepdog, also named Martha. McCartney has said that the song itself is probably about his longtime love interest Jane Asher."
Wow, it's almost like a song can have a deeper meaning, completely different from what it appears on the surface.
@davidbelkevitz1311 - Come on, would you really play that medley in front of anyone? I saw when I was buying it that it ended with a medley. I immediately thought of Abbey Road and thought, "This is going to rock out". It did not. I liked the idea to bring in the solos from each song in the medley back for the last part but the chorus "Baby I love you so, be I love you so, be I love you so, be I love you so..." ruined it. There were some good songs but as a whole, it let me down.
@debjorgo - Mind Games and Living in the Material World were not good in my mind either. I was ready to give up on the solo Beatles until I heard Live and Let Die and then Helen Wheels. Then came the album Band on the Run. I'm a big fan. We can be critical.
The notion that this is a message from Paul to John is incredibly heart felt and I am moved in a powerful way. Love is the greatest thing and Paul gave us so much love in his career. I hope he feels how much he is loved.
I think this song is the most inspired moment of Paul's solo career and maybe of his whole career......and that's saying a lot.......this song has something in it for any type of listener
Advise to some of you. Don't take everything at face value. Paul is the type of lyricist who likes to veil the meaning of his songs often. He doesn't like to hit you over the head with the meaning. He was asked about this very personal song and he used this lamb story to cover its meaning. I'm not saying a lamb didn't die at his farm and that the first part of the song wasn't inspired by that incident. I am talking about the entire song and its clearly not about a damn lamb! Use your own mind.
@dachille1 Thank God somebody else sees paul is deeper than he pretends to be. His obscure songs show more where he is than his popular ones.(you tube user's mom)
THIS IS MY FAVORITE SONG OF ALL TIME, THE MEANING TO ME IS, MY BABY GIRL, I PLACED FOR ADOPTION FOR HER BEST, NOT MINE. HER MEMORY WAS ALWAYS THERE HANGING AROUND. I SUFFERED FOR YEARS, POSTED FOR HER IN THE ADOPTION REGISTRY WHEN SHE TURNED 18. THIS WEEK, 31 YEARS LATER, I LOOKED AND THERE SHE WAS. I FOUND MY LITTLE LAMB DRAGONFLY.
@PrettyLittleHead You are wrong. This is about John. The lamb story is a cover up because Paul doesn't like to delve into the meaning of his personal songs. The lamb story doesn't fit if you listen to the lyrics of the Dragonfly part of the song. Maybe it fits the little lamb part but these are essentially two songs fused together.
@dachille1 Yes, YOU are WRONG...I will give that...Just to correct your inaccuracy, Macca does not always give the poticulars of his songs, that much is correct, as on The Firemans Palo Verde, it is not public information that Linda's voice is from the last horseback ride they took together before she died, Macca has NEVER given any info other than the "inspiration" to LLD as being inspired by a Lamb that died. Does not fit? LYRICS usually dont, Ths info is as common as "Scambled Eggs",wake up!
@dachille1 not every song has a real inspiration or meaning though. often times Paul writes about a fictional relationship. for example in his Beatles days he didnt love any woman really so his love songs weren't about anyone in particular most often. Besides, why would Paul lie about the meaning/inspiration? he admitted that "too many people" made references to John and that it was kinda nasty, so why wouldn't he admit he missed Lennon or whatever u say this song is about on Lennon?
@QueenBeatlesWings He did love a woman during the Beatles days--Jane Asher. They were together from 1963 to 1968. He did not ever admit that Too Many People was about John that I ever heard. The reason that he wanted to put people off the track about the Dragonfly part of the song was because he was embarrased about being so emotional about another man. This was a sublte message he wanted to give John and he used the lamb story to cover the meaningful part of the song-don't follow like sheep.
@PrettyLittleHead That is only the first part of the song. The dragonfly part is not about a lamb. Lyrics do fit. Paul did not want to talk about the inspiration for that song. It was too personal.
My Darling Pre Pubescent Dachille, and yes you are < 18 due to your premature expressionary need to believe your own myth of a great song, I will not argue with you anymore as your inacurrate need to inform gets tiring for those of common knowledge...Oh and YES the lamb's name was Dragonfly and NO the song had NOTHING to do with dear John...Bunny hugs and kisses my Dear Friend...night night :)
@PrettyLittleHead That is a cover up story so Paul didn't reveal his feelings about John publicly. How do the words to Dragonfly fit a relationship with a lamb. How did two wrongs make a right? They years ahead will show how little we really know. This isn't dialogue with a lamb. You are falling for the cover story. The word gullible comes to mind.
@PrettyLittleHead I know that is the story Paul told about the song. But if you look closely it is two separate songs and the lyrics to the Dragonfly section are NOT about a lamb dying. I don't care if the lamb was supposedly named Dragonfly. John was born in the Chinese year of the Dragon. Maybe that was where the name came from. It is clearly about his feelings about losing John and his hope that they reunite. "the years ahead will show how little we really know" is not about a lamb.
Thanks for posting...this brings memories of my Girlfriend (My Wife) who passed away in May 09' My daughter had cross-stiched a dragonfly pattern as a gift a few months before June passed. at the Grave a day after she was buried a Dragonfly nearly Landed on My erin's hand...Nice to know she's may be about.
Hi what a lovely comment , this song brings back memories of my brother who died when he was just 39, as my big brother I miss him still although he died 25 years ago and Im now 50 I can still think of him sitting here now singing along. Hope time helps you and your daughter to have good memories as well as the tender moments.
very 1 of Paul's albums was "good" but because he's such a talented person what would normally be considered a great album and songs are just ordinary and forgotten for Paul and the other Beatles' solo careers
@4FabBEATLES It is about John. The lamb story was a cover. They lyrics don't fit the Dragonfly part. It is clearly about the breakup of a relationship and not with a lamb! Listen to the lyrics instead of repeating stories that don't make sense. This was recorded in 1970 and not released until 1973 so he wasn't "over the whole Beatles arguing thing."
@ecompt yes a mcartney romantic epic ala back seat of my car, a song that should be heard more, i must admit i had forgotten how good this song was, a masterpiece.
Paul and John were great songwriters, we all know that. Who cares if they were better during the Beatles or post Beatles. That's all down to personal opinion. They were both very good in their solo careers. It's not a competition.
But you know what? George was a beautiful songwriter, too and he needs more acknowledgement, really.
tis song also supposedly could have been about a lamb on his farm i Scotland named Dragonfly who died. I doubt its about John because they hadn't made up yet
Also, there is far less musically invention in the solo work. The clever little things which came from John and George's input. Both him and John will never surpass the body of work on those 13 albums, it was Lennon and McCartney for christ sake !!!
Also, there is far less musical invention in the solo work. The clever little things which came from John and George's input. Both him and John will never surpass the body of work on those 13 albums, it was Lennon and McCartney for christ sake !!!
No way was Paul's songwriting BETTER after The Beatles. Yes, there are some good songs, but there were also embarrassing songs (on 'Pipes of peace' and
'McCartney II', just for starters). After the split, there was no-one to say 'No' to bad lyrics.
@Dodo251: I agree with you. He still wrote great songs, but obviously both he and John missed the other's input (who wouldn't !). Same with John's albums ('Mind Games' a good example). There were no really bad songs on Beatle albums, because one of them would come up with something to replace the 'crap' line. When they split, that didn't happen, so imo you have some bad songs on the solo albums. Good ones too, but a lower percentage. People should just accept it, I know Paul himself has said it
@ipolson You're absolutely 100% right. They in a way completed each other music-wise so the outcome was sheer brilliance of creativity and innovation. And I was a bit harsh about most of Paul's songs being throwaways which is not true since when compared to 'music' nowadays, his 'throwaway' music is actually very good. But again, compared to the Beatles material, it's not in the same league. There are albums like Ram, Band on the run, Flaming Pie, Chaos and creation etc. which I adore.
@Dodo251 "Pretty Mediocre".. That may be, there's bound to be some! :) But when you actually add up the good post Beatles songs McCartneys done, be it solo or with wings.. they still outnumber the amount any other artist has done in the last 40 years.. The mans a machine. I agree the albums as a whole don't always work but there have been a huge number of good tracks over the years. As I say, more than most other artists have penned..
It ISN'T The Beatles...its Paul McCartney... Macca was once a member of that great group, but this song is his own from his solo career. A solo career that shows that not only is his music improved since the Beatles, its a thousand times better!
@iowdave - Yeah, and Paul's inspiration has always been his sheepdog Martha. They were meant to be with each other. Or as John might have said, "It could be about that or it could be about an old girlfriend of mine".
@iowdave It was about John. The story you are repeating makes no sense when you listen to the lyrics to Dragonfly. I know Paul told that story but it was only because he does not like to reveal the more personal meanings of his songs.
@dachille1: Not about John at all. Where is your proof ? If you are going by the lyrics, you could interpret virtually every song at that time as being 'about John'.
You have no proof whatsoever. The easist thing for Macca to say would be 'Its about John' , but he has never done that. The actual songs about John ie: Dear Friend, Too Many People etc have been acknowledged as such.
Paul was always at his best when writing sweet songs, like this one. I always thought his first solo album, McCartney, a/k/a "Bowl of Cherries," was his best, but this song, from Red Rose Speedway, was always one of my Macca favs too.
'Paul pursued John til his last days' . Think you are believing the media stories. Yes, Paul was the most pro-Beatles, but, apart from turning up at the Dakota in the early 70's, John retired between 75 and 80. Paul was on world tours with Wings ! Get Back was originally 'Commonwealth' inspired by Enoch Powell's speech about immigration. Yes, he probably did want her to 'get back' because
she was taking J's attention away from the band. Doesnt mean he would write love songs to John. Whatever.
poison paul pursued john until his last days! In Johns own words He wanted the Beatles the most! Paul was crushed when john wanted out! I guess Im Imagining pauls mother In a dream telling him to let it be. and get back Jo-Jo, kind of rhymes with Yo-Ko. John said Pauls always staring at yoko when he sings that part. ok the songs about his kids or a dragonfly who broke his heart! Whatever.
@danesesrocky76 - Jo Jo was Joe See, Linda's first husband who was still hanging around Linda at the time trying to get back with her. "Get Back Joe, Go Home." Joe went back to Tucson, Arizona and committed suicide shortly after Linda died.
I think this is a wonderful song....Almost heavenly...I listened to this in the 70s, but can't stop listening to it at the moment. This is a step up from his beatles songs, anyone who thinks this song is crap, is a sad moron, who has limited musical taste and understanding....
This song can't be about John Lennon. I don't believe Paul McCartney would write back: I miss you so in my heart, after John Lennons song: How do you sleep?.
@kimNielsen : You are correct. This idea that Paul was 'missing' John at the time doesn't stack up. He obviously didnt want the Beatles to split up, but 'Ram' is full of pretty nasty and sarcastic stuff directed at John and The Beatles. Even the cover shows two beetles screwing each other ! This why John wrote 'HDYS'. The answer to that came with 'Dear Friend', which is not about 'missing' John but
a quite bitter reply to John's nastiness on 'Imagine'.
Ipoisin I feel without a doubt this song was written for John. But Hey everyone has their own opinion! Dragonfly youve been away too long, HOW can 2 Rights Make a Wrong." 2 rights John and Paul" through the Beatle years are now 2 wrongs! your telling me thats about a dragonfly? and some believe the little lamb Is Julian.
@danesesrocky76: '2 rights John and Paul through the Beatle years are now 2 wrongs' ? How about it being something he said to his own kids ' 2 wrongs dont make a right' , something all parents say to their children. Those words could be about anything ! But each to their own.
@danesesrocky76 Ok Ipoisin this songs about his kids or a dragonfly who broke his heart, whatever , John said Paul was the one who wanted the Beatles most. Linda- Paul purued John till his last days trying to get together. Paul was crushed when john wanted out.. Let it be, Pauls dream from his mother, to let it be. Get back Jo-Jo-kind of rhymes with Yo-Ko. John said Paulalways stares at yoko when he sings get back. But I look Into things too much.
by listening to the documentary narrated by Paul,Linda, and Mary McCartney you can find out alot of things about Wings you'd never know. It's a wonderfully inspiring story and it's amazing it's true
after cursing you for such an opionion I realized you could be right?????? However the only way to know is to ask him! However, my first question (and always has been) is whether that long beep feedback on Nowhere Man was deliberate or accidental, then I"d ask your question! Do a Pennsylvania vacation in mid August, Eat a great burger at McFaddeds in Philly at 2 p.m. on 8/14/10, and then walk across the street behind the W.CNTR., at 4 p.m. and catch Paul arriving for sndchk, and ask him! C ya
This song has nothing to do with John at all. This was 1973. The last song directed at John was 'Dear Friend' on the 'Wild Life' album in '72'. You could interpret a lot of songs that way, especially on 'Red Rose Speedway', but Paul himself has commented on the fact that people did this. He said 'its interesting to hear what people come up with, but I know what was in my head when I wrote them, and its nothing like people say'.
@twinpomeranians : If I remember correctly, it was an Interview with Nicky Horne of Capital Radio in the late 70's. I have it on cassette, but its among hundreds of cassettes of interviews, so don't ask me to track it down, cos I dont have time to listen to hours of old cassettes !
@ipolson No worries! Just wondering. It's nice to know that not every hidden gem had something to do with The Beatles days. Of course, that doesn't mean that there isn't any significance, but you get my point.
@iowdave: Thats when John died in 1980 ! What people here were talking about is the 'messages' John and Paul were sending each other in their songs of the early 70's (ie : on 'Ram', 'Wild Life' 'Imagine' and (possibly) 'Red Rose Speedway').
Remeber that Paul said that those "messages" were not insults to john (ok, maybe they were, but Paul said that they werent and John even asked for pardon to Paul for writing "How do you sleep" and other songs)
@ToaKopha: I dont know if John ask for a 'pardon' for 'How Do you Sleep'. I have the interview with Bob Harris where he says he regrets it with hindsight, but added that
'me and Paul are ok so it doesn't matter what other people think' , but the interview was later (74-75 ish) so by then they were ok again.
The thing about Paul is his catalog is so immense, songs of his that would be hits for other artists are not hits for him since he's already had so many. They get lost. People will only put so many of one artist's songs on their iPod until they say "enough" and go to a different artist for some diversity. Paul doesn't play this song at his concerts because he has so many hits that the audience would be disappointed not to hear, and he could do 2 of them in the time it would take to do this.
Possibly the greatest song ever written. At least the very best by Paul. But it has nothing to do with John. It really is about a Little Lamb. People who think it must have a "deeper" meaning must never have loved or lost an animal. Also the most emotional vocal Paul has ever laid down onto tape.
The idea for this song originated when Paul's daughter Stella brought home a water colour painting she had done in school. It depicted a little white lamb desperately trying to enter the home of a dragonfly. The dragonfly seemed not to care and hovered nearby without a care. The painting now rests with Linda's remains.
Where did you find this out? Because that puts a new perspective on it (when Paul sings "I have no answer for you little lamb" he's the dragonfly talking, and the three verses at the lamb) and makes this song even more poignant.
I was listening to a radio interview promoting Stella's new fashion show in London when a reporter asked her about her drawing skills. Somehow the converstaion steered towrds the "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" drawing and before long she was talking about this other drawing of lambs and dragonflies. I guess that is why she became a fashion designer--she just likes to draw and create...much like her father.
This is an excellent and heartbreaking song. When people say Paul McCartney's songwriting was no good post Beatles, I'll point them in this direction.
@Frightwolf: Yeah, I see what you mean. Personally, I really love 'Silly love songs' but I know it's one of the songs that puts people right off him or just write him off as another cheesy songwriter. When this sort of stuff shows that he's anything but. He pushes what's popular though, I suppose, or what is percieved as popular in the media, record sales etc.
The thing I don't get is that the Beatles still talked about less "mainstream" stuff like Strawberry Fields and A Day in the Life till forever. But how often does Paul talk about his hidden gems like Golden Earth Girl and this song? He could blow his audiences away by playing Rinse the Raindrops, but he chooses not to. =\
who cares what it means. its a great track

Beautiful song, anyway.

debjorgo 1 year ago
@debjorgo Yes
davidbelkevitz1311 11 months ago
@davidbelkevitz1311 - I think Martha My Dog, always been his inspiration, died around this time. That could explain why Red Rose Speedway sucked.
From the Wiki on Martha My Dear, "The title "Martha My Dear" was inspired by McCartney's Old English Sheepdog, also named Martha. McCartney has said that the song itself is probably about his longtime love interest Jane Asher."
Wow, it's almost like a song can have a deeper meaning, completely different from what it appears on the surface.

@debjorgo Red Rose Speedway sucked? You obviously were born without either ears or any musical ability.
davidbelkevitz1311 11 months ago

SORRY...NOT ever a message to JohnLennon...was actually a lamb that had died on the McCartney Farm in Scotland....
PrettyLittleHead 1 year ago
@PrettyLittleHead You are wrong. This is about John. The lamb story is a cover up because Paul doesn't like to delve into the meaning of his personal songs. The lamb story doesn't fit if you listen to the lyrics of the Dragonfly part of the song. Maybe it fits the little lamb part but these are essentially two songs fused together.
dachille1 1 year ago
@dachille1 Yes, YOU are WRONG...I will give that...Just to correct your inaccuracy, Macca does not always give the poticulars of his songs, that much is correct, as on The Firemans Palo Verde, it is not public information that Linda's voice is from the last horseback ride they took together before she died, Macca has NEVER given any info other than the "inspiration" to LLD as being inspired by a Lamb that died. Does not fit? LYRICS usually dont, Ths info is as common as "Scambled Eggs",wake up!
PrettyLittleHead 1 year ago
@dachille1 not every song has a real inspiration or meaning though. often times Paul writes about a fictional relationship. for example in his Beatles days he didnt love any woman really so his love songs weren't about anyone in particular most often. Besides, why would Paul lie about the meaning/inspiration? he admitted that "too many people" made references to John and that it was kinda nasty, so why wouldn't he admit he missed Lennon or whatever u say this song is about on Lennon?
QueenBeatlesWings 1 year ago
@QueenBeatlesWings He did love a woman during the Beatles days--Jane Asher. They were together from 1963 to 1968. He did not ever admit that Too Many People was about John that I ever heard. The reason that he wanted to put people off the track about the Dragonfly part of the song was because he was embarrased about being so emotional about another man. This was a sublte message he wanted to give John and he used the lamb story to cover the meaningful part of the song-don't follow like sheep.
dachille1 1 year ago

PrettyLittleHead 1 year ago
@PrettyLittleHead That is a cover up story so Paul didn't reveal his feelings about John publicly. How do the words to Dragonfly fit a relationship with a lamb. How did two wrongs make a right? They years ahead will show how little we really know. This isn't dialogue with a lamb. You are falling for the cover story. The word gullible comes to mind.
dachille1 1 year ago
@PrettyLittleHead I know that is the story Paul told about the song. But if you look closely it is two separate songs and the lyrics to the Dragonfly section are NOT about a lamb dying. I don't care if the lamb was supposedly named Dragonfly. John was born in the Chinese year of the Dragon. Maybe that was where the name came from. It is clearly about his feelings about losing John and his hope that they reunite. "the years ahead will show how little we really know" is not about a lamb.

No way was Paul's songwriting BETTER after The Beatles. Yes, there are some good songs, but there were also embarrassing songs (on 'Pipes of peace' and
'McCartney II', just for starters). After the split, there was no-one to say 'No' to bad lyrics.
ipolson 1 year ago
@ipolson You're right about Paul in post-Beatles era. Most of his songs were throwaways but those that were good were REALLY good.
Dodo251 1 year ago
@Dodo251: I agree with you. He still wrote great songs, but obviously both he and John missed the other's input (who wouldn't !). Same with John's albums ('Mind Games' a good example). There were no really bad songs on Beatle albums, because one of them would come up with something to replace the 'crap' line. When they split, that didn't happen, so imo you have some bad songs on the solo albums. Good ones too, but a lower percentage. People should just accept it, I know Paul himself has said it
ipolson 1 year ago
@ipolson You're absolutely 100% right. They in a way completed each other music-wise so the outcome was sheer brilliance of creativity and innovation. And I was a bit harsh about most of Paul's songs being throwaways which is not true since when compared to 'music' nowadays, his 'throwaway' music is actually very good. But again, compared to the Beatles material, it's not in the same league. There are albums like Ram, Band on the run, Flaming Pie, Chaos and creation etc. which I adore.
Dodo251 1 year ago
@Dodo251: Absolutely. 'Tug of War' is a great album too

Whatever.

This song can't be about John Lennon. I don't believe Paul McCartney would write back: I miss you so in my heart, after John Lennons song: How do you sleep?.
kimNielsen 1 year ago
@kimNielsen : You are correct. This idea that Paul was 'missing' John at the time doesn't stack up. He obviously didnt want the Beatles to split up, but 'Ram' is full of pretty nasty and sarcastic stuff directed at John and The Beatles. Even the cover shows two beetles screwing each other ! This why John wrote 'HDYS'. The answer to that came with 'Dear Friend', which is not about 'missing' John but
a quite bitter reply to John's nastiness on 'Imagine'.

He said 'its interesting to hear what people come up with, but I know what was in my head when I wrote them, and its nothing like people say'.
ipolson 1 year ago
True.
Although this song was written just before or during the 'Ram'-sessions late 70/early 71. [Around the time of his lawsuit.]
'Dear Friend' and' Get On the Right Thing' were also 'Ram' outtakes, later appearing on Wings' first and second album.

The idea for this song originated when Paul's daughter Stella brought home a water colour painting she had done in school. It depicted a little white lamb desperately trying to enter the home of a dragonfly. The dragonfly seemed not to care and hovered nearby without a care. The painting now rests with Linda's remains.
kir3txsbcglobalnet 2 years ago
Where did you find this out? Because that puts a new perspective on it (when Paul sings "I have no answer for you little lamb" he's the dragonfly talking, and the three verses at the lamb) and makes this song even more poignant.
Frightwolf 2 years ago
I was listening to a radio interview promoting Stella's new fashion show in London when a reporter asked her about her drawing skills. Somehow the converstaion steered towrds the "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" drawing and before long she was talking about this other drawing of lambs and dragonflies. I guess that is why she became a fashion designer--she just likes to draw and create...much like her father.

@Frightwolf: Yeah, I see what you mean. Personally, I really love 'Silly love songs' but I know it's one of the songs that puts people right off him or just write him off as another cheesy songwriter. When this sort of stuff shows that he's anything but. He pushes what's popular though, I suppose, or what is percieved as popular in the media, record sales etc.
emh26 2 years ago
The thing I don't get is that the Beatles still talked about less "mainstream" stuff like Strawberry Fields and A Day in the Life till forever. But how often does Paul talk about his hidden gems like Golden Earth Girl and this song? He could blow his audiences away by playing Rinse the Raindrops, but he chooses not to. =\
