@cikcak01 Ok, but how do you explain that Beggar's Night from Under Jolly Roger has that OMEN-ish sound? The drums, guitars, everything is just like OMEN which was a American power metal band. I would say Running Wild is heavy/power/speed metal band. They are not sticking to just one subgenre they take all three in one. And the songs they wrote are different to each other.

Because Port Royal sounds like a straight heavy/speed metal album compared to Under Jolly Roger which has more heavy metal songs than speed metal. Vocals sounds different in speed metal and in power metal, right? More falsetto vocals and faster drumming in power metal? Running Wild doesn't sound anything like Scanner, Liege Lord, Jag Panzer and Attacker. PM can also be progressive like Crimson Glory and Fates Warning.

Branded and Exiled and Death or Glory are the albums that aren't pirate metal. Under Jolly Roger which came after Branded and Exiled established the trademark of the pirate theme and Death or Glory was released after Under Jolly Roger which was suprisingly no pirate metal. And after Death or Glory they went back to their pirate metal. Their most famous pirate metal album is Black Hand Inn.
