This is one of the hardest games I've seen....real difficulty

Never got past lvl 2.....and the samba-like background music is still one of the most annoying BGMs of all time...hhaha it really sucks

Heh i always found the enemy AI behaviour funny, they seemed to prioritize getting on the same horizontal level as you above all else. i could do these till level 33 at which point i got seriously stuck.

i have the MEGA ACTION ARCADE and it has this game, my parents saw that at toys r us n had to buy it, i didnt know what was so cool, we reached home and my parents cried hearing this music, my mum used to play this with her sibs in the 70's my mum n dad are MEGA fans!

I reckon the main reason why these levels are so difficult is cuz u need to use those bad guys as well, whereas in the easy version all you need to do is to avoid them :P

Actually the Commodore 64 of Lode Runner isn't. Though, the NES was a bit challenged but it's still decent. It takes practice to know how to avoid and timing.

No stories for this game, all you need to do is collect golds and avoid bombermans. Process through each level once you get all the golds, be sure to reach the Escape Ladder

Really nice man. I never could beat this game, just a few stages.

But Bomberman is a different story. My father and I finished it a lot of times. (50 stages)

In the final you can see Bomberman becoming human (Lode Runner).

Possibly as revenge for Bomberman forgetting to turn them into humans, as well. (Bomberman wished he was a human once he escaped from the Bomb Factory and it was granted, turning him into Lode Runner.)
