Yeah towards the end you see the newspaper with ezra how hes blind and got a job will smith knew he was blind and then before he killed himself he rang ezra and told him the call was a test at the beginning when he teased his disability and the nat the very end you cna see hes eyes are no longer that blue color that blind people/animals have also when emily looks at ezra she crys coz she gets a chance to look into his eyes and thats how you can tell he got the transplant :D

The movie really played out like a book more than a movie. Although the character's weren't developed as much as other movies, Will Smith's acting kind of replaces the need for character development.

People told me this movie sucked. That Will flopped. And I believed them. Only recently did I pick it up for someone else, and it was AWESOME. That's fine if people didn't "like" the movie. But to say it sucked!? That it was a Vanity Project? Puhhhleeeeze! im not sure who the 7th person is. i know he saved emily, woody character (the blind guy), holly, the lil bald black boy, the mexican lady, his brother. i left out one other person, but cant think of the person. the 7th could of been his best friend, not sure.

way to give away the story and get it wrong... the title, "7 pounds", is a reference to Shakespeare (i think), where in the Merchant of Venice a payment of 1 pound of flesh is required to repay a loan. in the movie (since the person above already ruined it for people...) Will Smith gives one major, lifechanging thing to 7 deserving people, "repaying" his debt for the 7 people who died in the crash.
