Also, I suspect you're doing something very wrong with either your cabling set up or your config settings to get videos at the quality you are... The only reason this video looks as bad as it does is because 2 years ago when this was uploaded YouTube was crap for quality.

@n3818cabobo I suspect there is actually very little difference in the technology between the different tiers of dazzle but the software that comes with them probably varies.

@n3818cabobo the only difference is the software that comes with it and in my opinion Pinnacle is no good. i use VirtualDub to capture and sony vegas to render.

I live out of a Laptop so there's no way I could get away with playing COD4 on it :(

Using a Dazzle (Hooked up to my 360->Laptop) I can get screen quality ... But yeah Youtube makes quick work of that so I just save myself the hard drive space and record at about 60%.

thats cool, my laptops shit i have the red dazzle its the dvd one i couldnt afford the other ones this one was $40 and like 20 for you loll it records pretty well though on low quality

Pretty sure I have the Platinum one, I paid about £40 ($80~) and the quality it records at is perfect ... Youtube quickly butchers that though.

Plus, the way I have my 360 rigged when i'm recording I have it on low-def since I can use both video outputs.
