CompactFlash cards can easily handle 1 hour of footage at 50 Mbps rate. These cards are much smaller, easier to ship, and probably have more read-write cycles (endurance) than XDCam media. Personally, I recommend 100 Mbps Long GOP as the acquisition format, but 50 Mbps Long GOP is an excellent delivery format. My friend in States told me that,,,,,,and CHINA can make cheaper CF falsh cards than any countries in te world.
Clearly one of the best piece of kit to come along in a long time! I'll be using the nano-flash when it's released ... sometime in April. Tape is out.

It cant record uncompressed, it doesn't have the storage but at 100MBPS which approximates uncompressed!

It will record uncompressed in I-Frame only. It will cost an extra $1,000 to do so when the codec is ready.
