  • soooo love this,im 50 now and still love you guys xxx

  • Who's Michael?

  • Ive always admired the Osmond family

  • the guy who starts singing at :15 hes been in movies hasnt he??? he looks so familiar

  • What kind of an idiot puts subtitles over subtitles?

  • @PassWorId the keyword "idiot" i wish they would fix this

  • 0:00 RIP headphone users. :'(

  • @AnotherSchmoe yup, i got blasted..what little hearing i have left, it surely gotten worse

  • nice song, but jeez those boys got ugly

  • @LovingBrothers No, they just got older. We all do.

  • Neglected to say that the osmond family are a true talent in their own right, and the rubbish that is spewed out these days cannot hold a candle to the osmonds

  • Fair enough billyfan. Respect your opinion. Saw the Hollies in concert many times when Allan Clarke was leading the band. He was the best singer of any band in the sixties and seventies. His solo albums are great and demonstrate his singing voice perfectly!

  • I find memorable, incredible, magnificent musical is the letter

  • far too sugary. the shirilness and overhype of the osmonds cannot compare to the original by the hollies. find it on you tube and compare

  • @hollies50 Done that...Many times in fact...Still like the Osmonds version( not necessarily this one) better

  • I hate it when people compare Osmonds to Jackson 5! Osmonds are one of the greatest bands ever! They produced some briliant hits. Jackson 5 are also one of the greatest bands ever! They produced The Greatest Artist in History!

  • There should be some sort of warning that this video starts out with a loud audience. Now I have no eardrums.

  • I like this song because it talks about "carrying one another's burdens and thus fulfilling the Law of Christ". The Osmands rival Neil Diamond's performance in their way.

  • They are wonderfull, like singers and family.

  • I got to see them in Branson and we were lucky to sit in the fifth row with their neighbors from Utah. I wish we could have met Marie, but she wasn't with them then. They are beautiful people and so is their music.

  • The Best of The Best....The Osmonds...Luv you 4-ever!!

  • @njo425 Unbelievable, as you say, The Best O |the Best, no other ''Boy band'' can ever compete, love them x

  • I get so choked up when I see this precious timeless scene here!

  • why am i crying?

  • i think merril definitely sings this best.

  • In my opinion the Osmond family is the most talented, functional and decent family out there. Admire how they all have big, loving family of their own and can still stay so close together.

  • but i'm strong.............. :(

  • who played marie in this movie she is Hot Hot Hot????

  • Does anyone know who recorded the soundtrack for Inside The Osmonds movie? I'd like to get a copy of it on cd. Jeff

  • Crap. I was doing just fine until Olive and George came out. Does any one have the last PBS special of them? The last time the entire family were together?

  • I still buy Donny's CDs. Probably always will.

  • Audiance: STFU!

  • I love this song! based on the Boystown, home for boys in I think Nebraska.

  • I saw the movie and it was great!

  • I love this family. The Osmonds are my favorite showbusiness family.

  • Those actors are no replacement for the real Osmonds. What a talented, lovely family.

  • i so love this song.

  • As the one who this video has been dedicated too, I thank you Don for your love and am proud and honored to call you my brother. We may no tbe as big as the Osmonds but our family definetely has the same bond between us. Though the road may be long at times, you will never be a burden to me and I would lay my life down for you. I love you brother....

    Ed-

  • When I first saw this, it made me cry when the Osmods themselves appeared. I would love tohave this on dvd

  • goose bumps it is so good to see a family who truly loves each other

  • Do you imagine ? cantale esta canción a muñequito...jaja

  • conoci la version original en su inicio y me quedo con ella, no obstante la supercalidad de Los Hermanos Osmond hace que esta version sea deliciosa

  • I Had this song played at my close friends funeral, I cried then and it still nearly brings me to tears but I love it.

  • Wheeeeere did aaaalll the good times goooooo

    o? :)

  • What in the #e!!, Whats with all the devil horns. Are they in with the secret society or something?

    3:16

  • Comment removed

  • @kindly4real there are no devil horns Viril and Tom hold up the "I Love You" sign, seeings as they are deaf

  • Wonderful!!!!

  • oh man this made me cry

  • nice

  • Hate the video has subtitles in Spanish, is to ignore the millions of fans in Latin America. The Osmonds are a gift from U.S. for the world. Their music, their voices, no borders or skin color. The Osmonds are part of my youth and I remember always being in love with Marie, the music of The Osmonds me back to better times and say if the subtitles in Spanish because even the Osmonds are ours.

  • Just beautiful and thank God Marie has her faith, brothers and love from her family to hold her up/

  • To the Osmonds: My deepest sympathy to you on the death of Michael. It was a shock when I read it in the paper this morning. But as this movie showed, you are all so strong and I know that you will get through this. We are all praying for you. We love you. God Bless You All.

  • Amen

  • @RampGuy1 Thanks. I get chills when I watch this video. My cousin liked The Osmonds as a teen. Sadly, she is no longer here. She died on Dec. 27, 2007 after a 2 1/2 year bout with Lou Gehrig's Disease. I think of her when I here this song.

  • I'm truly sorry for your loss. But what a fitting time than Christmas, well perhaps Easter.

  • @mkl62 Yeah because they are going to read this...

  • legendary indeed.

    love and health

  • They look pretty heavy to me.

  • awesome!!!!!

  • The Osmonds and Jacksons were two of the most famous family groups that came through the 70's. However, George wasn't a slavedriver to his children like Joe was. George just told them to get out there and have fun with it and they did. And Jimmy did have a normal childhood, unlike Michael and his siblings. Joe didn't make as a singer/musician, so he lived his dream through his kids. Now, I have heard that he wants to do the same with Michael's kids. Hey, Joe, BACK OFF!

  • NOT ME--OSMONDS ROCK!

  • The fella that plays Donny...is Patrick.......from So Weird...Disney Series...

  • What the name of this movie they made of the osmonds ?

  • It is called Inside the Osmonds.

  • This is done very well by the Osmonds. I was a big fan as a teenager! This song is really important to me cause of my Big Brother Pat! Thanks!

  • This is from a TV movie about the osmonds..not sure of the actors names

  • Who are the young singers at the very start of the tape? Tho similar, Donny & Marie come a few moments later.

  • ¿Qué hermosa canción! Brillante y emocionante interpretación por estos notables artistas.

  • The ending of this movie was EPIC.

    best movie ever :]

  • The Osmonds have to be one of the closest families and one of the largest. You can tell they really love each other too. To be in the public eye for over 40 years and no serious scandals to rock them is amazing now days.

  • God, family, morales, hard work, and good clean living shows us all what is possible with our short lives. Bless this family for being "In Spirit" and providing me with inspiration to improve my life.

  • @nights4g So right, my friend. The Osmonds are genuine and decent and prove that you can make the news for the right reasons.

  • is it their song? did they write it?

  • It was written jointly as a Russell/Scott composition and best known for being performed by the Hollies.

  • Immortalized by the Hollies sung by the Osmonds

  • SINGING Osmonds Born yr... Alan 1949 Wayne 1951 Merrill 1953 Jay 1955 Donny 1957 Marie 1959 Jimmy 1963 Virl 1945 Tom 1947
  • thats a family with love.

    peace

  • the fake osmonds

  • Is Osmonds family are mormon believer?

  • YES

  • Osmonds show what is a true family that loves each other. That counts most.

  • touching

  • who are the youngsters?

  • From Anna,

Hi Mrschriswalken, If your asking who the youngest is? That would be Jimmy.

    Your friend,

    Anna

  • It was a great pleasure to meet the parents while serving their mission in Hawaii; way before I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Beautiful parents.

  • They are truely awesome....I love this song....Love you guys!

  • This version is truly awesome! And I'm a hardcore Hollies fan!

  • From Anna,

Hi Redhairkid, The Osmond are coming out with a 2 set DVD of their 50th tour in the UK in August. It costs $50.00 in USA. Its only at the Osmond Store.

    Your friend,

    Anna

  • Love this song and the Osmonds version is the best. The Osmonds are just fantastic and so talented.

  • anyone knows where can i looking this movie the osmonds family movie tell me please sorry my english im mexican please helpme

  • u may be able to buy it on ebay..it was a vh1 made for tv movie..i dont think it was ever released for public to buy

  • crash my stereo speakers why don't you.

  • Mormons are Christians.

  • No It ISN"T......check your mail 4 my reply

  • By their sheer staying power and keeping clean is a credit to them, the musical ability was always there, how many of you critics have a fraction of their talent in your family.

  • Umm....for all the critics out there, you may detest and loathe them, but their staying power speaks for itself. 43 years and still counting. And THEY have some talent, unlike the skank Madonna

  • This movie was on last nite.. it was apretty good film but slightly unexciting due to the nature of how they lived their strict mormon lives..

  • The original Hollies hit had more emotion and was just better overall. You're blasting our eardrums with this

  • The Hollies might have had a bigger hit, but I really honestly don't feel they would have more emotion. The Osmonds symbolize everything that means "Family" and lifting your burdens where your "Brother" is concerned. <<Osmand Fan...

  • I didn't watch the whole video

  • Dont worry.. This was the best part of the entire movie.. The only reason why I watch the whole thing.

  • This isn't even the Osmonds. And the volume was enough to blast your eardrums out.

  • The beginning was from the movie..the ending was the real osmonds.

  • This makes me cry :') bcoz I luv my brother so much :')

  • i love the osdmans

  • 0_0 I heard this in my school itsh meh homework

  • I like the original 1 more from the holies

  • thanks so much for posting this. i love the osmonds.

  • God I love this song & the osmonds, I'm almost in tears every time I hear this song

  • It must be so good to be able to sing this song with your brothers/sisters - I have one sister and whenever I hear this song (any verion) I think of her.

  • sumtin is jus not rite here. it kinda freaks me out. great vocalists tho

  • Never seen this footage before.... thanks for sharing it, I just love this song so much & it's sung beautifully by The Osmond family...............BRING ON THE OSMONDS

  • You people commenting here are very sad. None of you seem to have an ear for music. This is very sad and it is not your fault, most of you are young and do not know what is good because you live in a digital age that has left liberal art behind. You all don't even know you are suffering. These Osmonds have generations close to younger generations, and here they are singing in perfect pitch. We all need to eat and we all need water to drink, but next to that, art is a beauty of life. Nit wits.

  • I agree... Everybody's voice is being digiatlly rematsered.. You dont konw who can sing and who cant until you hear them live..But the Osmonds are by far better singers in this clip than they were as children because their pitch was off especially Donny. he was no Michael jackson.. But dude has an amazing voice in his adult years.. Marie is hott!!!!!

  • To all my brother y'all are loved and b;essed by our Father...both our fathers abobe...much love.

  • los osmonds son los mejores del mundo . Tuve la oportunidad de escucharlos en vivo cuando vinieron a Mexico.

  • dude, this is the fake donny and marie

  • seriuosly!! this is like the spanish version

  • I always get goosebumps when i see this video... I also come from a very large family, and many times have felt the same... we carry each others load, and are there for each other.

  • I would still do Marie!

  • awesome Osmonds are like family....

    thx for sharing this..

  • Can't hold back the tears...memories and talent... thank you....L.

  • The Osmonds have been kicked around for too long by "trendy" music critics who can't even play the tambourine. Redress favours their legacy!!

  • From Anna,

Hi Haldenver, To put it another way but similar to what you said they've not been given the respect they deserve in music industry. They should have been mentioned at this years Grammy's for 50 years in the businees. Not right!!!! Anna.

  • I just love this movie thank you for sharing it.

    cheers

  • It's the real Osmonds singing, with these actors lip syncing and then the real Osmonds walk out at the end.

  • the adults who come out about a minute into it are the real Osmonds-all grown up.

the kids at the beginning are actors...its meant to be a flashback sort of thing :-)

  • i luved this movie!

  • I Think they have such amazing voices. They are truly blessed by our Savior.

  • Brings tears to my eyes every time the Osmonds sing this. I lust love them.

  • still love the osmonds!!!

  • Wonderful! Such great talent!

  • What a beautiful song and what a wonderful family

  • I love this song. Their voices are so awesome. They are blessed and if anyone says they don't have talent, they are just people who put everything down

  • My favorite version of this song!!!

  • Simply Beautiful!

  • Absolutely beautiful, and moving. What a gift they all have!

  • What happen to miril

  • wow the entrance was amazingg

  • rustyoo2006...you are CRAZY!! This family is extremeley talented...after all these years!! Thank you Osmonds...

  • great

  • rustyoo3006, you need to watch it again - they all have range, vibratto and fullness in their voices. I haven't seen a more talented (vocal) family ever. They're fantastic, and this rendition of the song is one of the best ever .. since the Hollies first sang it.

  • all these years and still have not lost those voices, great group, and wish them many more years singing and touring, thanks for posting,

  • Brilliant !!!!

  • osmonds we love you, great song.

  • This clip shows clearly that individually, only Merrill is a stand-out singer. Donny, Marie, and Jimmy...all lack range and fullness in their voice.

  • Marie can sing better in many top songs than the origional singers do though. She must have studied and searched another way to do the best and touching part of a top song.

If you listen to Donny's Puppy Love in 1972. It is too hard to find an excuse to criticize Donny.

Merrill's voice is magnetic. His Down by the Lazy River is more than perfect. But He couldn't surpass the original singer when he did Elvis Presley's Jail House Rock.

  • This is a really great song. Ever since I heard it at the Hallmark Channel, I couldn't get it out of my head! :) I don't think I'll ever get tired of it. It's so beautiful! :)

  • Thanks for sharing this!
