@Katluver1991 Most of the Orthodox Muslims are connected to one or the other order of Sufism! Only Wahabis are against it and they are not wrong in the sense that they want to limit all the possibilities to idolatry! :) God makes it very clear that the the one is going to be judged according to the intentions behind their deeds and not the deeds alone! :)

All those who experience divine love become Sufis! :)

@Katluver1991 I try to be! Its a path full of thrones, to follow!! My parents are Mashaikh of Chishti-Qadri order and God has blessed me that way and what strengthens my faith more is the miracles that I witness, almost on daily basis! :)

@Katluver1991 Nothing to hide!! If one can't hide his faith from God then why to hide it from people! :)

We follow Quran and the teaching of the Prophet(pbuh) but our interpretation is not literal, most of the times.

We pray like Orthodox, believe like Orthodox etc but supplement to that, we follow our teachers(Mashaikh) in the ways of remembrance of God. Different orders follow different ways but the essence is the same! It is that way by which the noble saints approached to the love of God!

I think whirling dervishes created a very beautiful dance form and expression of devotion, but I wouldn't take it too far. I don't like this "trust in trance" bit--trance is too much like a a drug induced state of something like hypnosis but without the drug, completely self induced. This has no place in a sincere religious devotion, IMHO.

BTW, why oh why did the film maker keep repeating images of the deadpan lady with the 80s neon orange jacket? It was annoying. She needs a new stylist.
