I bought this today... the pricetag was over the type of fragrance it was ( like Eau de toilette or like a Deo stick) and when I came home and was in heaven because I had at last got the fragrance.... I realized that it was not a Eau de toilette...but a Deo-stick :( I was soooo angry at myself so I hope that I can deliver it back in the store and get the Eau de toilette instead ( and pay the rest for the eau de toilette of course) ....Btw, I hope that you can make a review for DKNY MEN :D
Burberry London Is a fantastic frag,nice smoky note. The best description that i have read was at basenotes. One member said that It reminded him of a "Thanksgiving"/Christmas dinner,and Indeed It does remind me of the hollidays. I found that I had to add a few xtra sprays for a night out,not that long lasting on my skin. Thanks for the review,good job.:)

I have a bottle of Burberry London based upon the sample I tried in the store and from reviews on youtube. The opening is kind of nice with a burst of cinnamon, but quickly fades away and is pretty consistent from there on out. The fragrance is all right, but I do not wear it too often. I would not buy it again, but that is just me.
I just bought a 100 mL (3.3 fl oz) bottle from ebay for $35, and it has no projection. Someone would have to be licking me to smell it. The white stripe on the front appears twice (2 stripes) and your bottle has one white stripe on the front and one on the side. Everything else about the bottle appears to be exactly the same as original bottles with serial number on the sticker at the bottom of the bottle.
Hey do you like the old burberry london classic!! The one with the silver cap and clear bottle and the colonge itself is like gold!!! Can you do a comparison between the two fragerences?

I must say Polo Explorer is extremely similar. It isn't a carbon copy but in all honesty it is very close to being one. For me, either one will do, it is mostly a matter of price.

@Guinea54 yeah, I work at Kohl's...I wouldn't trust the samples there...they are old. The bottles sold are fine, but the testers aren't legit. Sephora is by far much better.

Some people say that colognes dont really get old or spoiled, while others believe the fresher the better. I mean I have had a bottle of joop cologne on my shelf for like four years, and it still smells the same. So I am not sure what to believe.

I finally smelled this cologne, and no offense, but I wasn't really impressed. I mean, yeah it was unique and everything, but the cinammon smell was too strong and it kind of smelled like a cinammon scented air freshener. Anyway that's just my opinion. I'm sure there are tons of people out there that like this, but I guess I'm not one of them.

I totally agree with you about this cologne. It is one of my favorites. I smelled it for the first time last Christmas. And, I have wanted it since. It just reminded me of the feeling of fall, and Christmas and the cold. When you first smell it.. you are like.. huh? Its appealing but at the same time.. it could almost smell like a hope chest. But, it just grows on you.. to where you think about the smell. And, whats great about it is not many people have it..
Because I was told by a sales associate at Macy's that authentic Burberry fragrances are supposed to have the Burberry info stamped at the bottom of the bottle and if it has a sticker it's fake. What's odd is that the one I bought from Macy's has a sticker but it has to be authentic because its Macy's you know?

Lol yeah i guess it is pretty funny :) I took it back to her later on that day and she freaked. She asked several sa's around her and they all weren't sure so she called the Sephora store next door and they actually said that London is the only one that has a sticker so, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Good luck with getting your Burberry back from your ex though. Hopefully she won't do something scornful to it cuz that'd suck!
It is only a sticker, and oddly it doesn't come with a serial number on the bottle. The only thing that through me off is the cap is a bit of a pain to get off. Anyone else have the same issue?

@aidenryu I think it was accidentally fixed. My father wanted to smell it. When he proceeded to open it.., the black metalish piece around the base of the sprayer came with it, and was stuck inside the cap. Once I got it out and pushed it back on. The cap was easier to get off... and it doesn't seem so loose. Thanks for all the info. God bless!
Great review! I just got this and I love it. The price is on point! I agree with you about it being up there with houses like Creed. I'm a big user of both Creed and Amouage scents. This ranks up there with some of the best.
Hey Tim, have you ever tried Michael Kors Men by Michael Kors? Apparently it's very similar to London, but with less sweet cherry/port, and better longevity. I've been wanting to try it myself, though haven't got round to it yet.
Damn, i just bought this and it blew me away. What an unique deep scent but classy in the same way. This is definitely my favourite fragrance. It even beated Dreamer. I recommend this for everybody! NO LIE!!!
Still detectable after 4.5 although it has lost some panache by this time but not too much! Up to 3.5 hours it is utterly superb. Complimented already.
I adore this fragrance! I never tried it for some reason because Burberry was too common and I thought it was overstated. Finally I heard that this fragrance was amazing for Fall so I tried it. I love Fall and this cologne really does, for me, epitomize fall. Spicy, slightly sweet, deep, mellow, just all around amazing.

To the person below me, the only place where you will find this fragrance for around $30 is in the fragrance district in NY (If you live in NY). Check the community section of Basenotes, people sell it for around $30 all the time. It is really hard to find a good price for this fragrance elsewhere.
Review is spot on. This is the strongest cologne I have, so I spray once on the neck. 2 (once on the neck and once more on your wrist) would probably be the max, but it lasts so you don't need much of it anyway.

I totally agree with you about this cologne. It is one of my favorites. I smelled it for the first time last Christmas. And, I have wanted it since. It just reminded me of the feeling of fall, and Christmas and the cold. When you first smell it.. you are like.. huh? Its appealing but at the same time.. it could almost smell like a hope chest. But, it just grows on you.. to where you think about the smell. And, whats great about it is not many people have it..

Because I was told by a sales associate at Macy's that authentic Burberry fragrances are supposed to have the Burberry info stamped at the bottom of the bottle and if it has a sticker it's fake. What's odd is that the one I bought from Macy's has a sticker but it has to be authentic because its Macy's you know?

Lol yeah i guess it is pretty funny :) I took it back to her later on that day and she freaked. She asked several sa's around her and they all weren't sure so she called the Sephora store next door and they actually said that London is the only one that has a sticker so, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this one. Good luck with getting your Burberry back from your ex though. Hopefully she won't do something scornful to it cuz that'd suck!

It is only a sticker, and oddly it doesn't come with a serial number on the bottle. The only thing that through me off is the cap is a bit of a pain to get off. Anyone else have the same issue?

@aidenryu I think it was accidentally fixed. My father wanted to smell it. When he proceeded to open it.., the black metalish piece around the base of the sprayer came with it, and was stuck inside the cap. Once I got it out and pushed it back on. The cap was easier to get off... and it doesn't seem so loose. Thanks for all the info. God bless!

Great review! I just got this and I love it. The price is on point! I agree with you about it being up there with houses like Creed. I'm a big user of both Creed and Amouage scents. This ranks up there with some of the best.

Hey Tim, have you ever tried Michael Kors Men by Michael Kors? Apparently it's very similar to London, but with less sweet cherry/port, and better longevity. I've been wanting to try it myself, though haven't got round to it yet.

Damn, i just bought this and it blew me away. What an unique deep scent but classy in the same way. This is definitely my favourite fragrance. It even beated Dreamer. I recommend this for everybody! NO LIE!!!

its pretty "mature" as you put it.. that doesnt mean you cant pull it off though..
The key to cologne is not overdoing it and being confident in what you're wearing.
I say go for it if you like it. worst case scenario you can save it until youre 18 or 19 or so.

Picked up my 30ml today - decided to go conservative as:
1) I was buying on the strength of this vid and may not have liked
2) I get bored before I use up 100ml and want to get something else
3) I get paranoid they are going to go 'off' if I don't use them in a year or so
First impressions - this is awesome. Will report back on longevity.

Still detectable after 4.5 although it has lost some panache by this time but not too much! Up to 3.5 hours it is utterly superb. Complimented already.

I adore this fragrance! I never tried it for some reason because Burberry was too common and I thought it was overstated. Finally I heard that this fragrance was amazing for Fall so I tried it. I love Fall and this cologne really does, for me, epitomize fall. Spicy, slightly sweet, deep, mellow, just all around amazing.

To the person below me, the only place where you will find this fragrance for around $30 is in the fragrance district in NY (If you live in NY). Check the community section of Basenotes, people sell it for around $30 all the time. It is really hard to find a good price for this fragrance elsewhere.

Review is spot on. This is the strongest cologne I have, so I spray once on the neck. 2 (once on the neck and once more on your wrist) would probably be the max, but it lasts so you don't need much of it anyway.
