Not really.

The title stays "Super Mario Galaxy", but you get to play the entire game as Luigi.

The biggest difference between Mario and Luigi is that Luigi jumps higher and farther, and runs a little faster than Mario. The downside is that he slides a bit on the ground when trying to stop after running.

Also, some missions has gotten a little harder, especially the Cosmic Race missions where Cosmic Luigi is a a little faster than Cosmic Mario was, giving you a little more of a challange.
