  • i have been doing this for 2 weeks now and i can see improvements already, my skin feels so moisturized and my family member has even complemented me on my glowing skin tone. my face is almost clear i cant believe it...and it has tightened my pores. in even began using oils on my hair and other natural products and i must say my hair is flourishing.

  • i too have been suffering with pimples and blemishes on my face and back from my early 20's- i tried almost every over the counter products and doctor prescriptions, they helped a bit but left my skin dull and dry. After watching youtube videos and googling natural products and their benefits i decide to make a natural mixture of shea butter, rosemary oil, vitamin oil, glycerin, aloe-vera juice and lemon juice (smells heavenly) i also wash with dudu-osun black soap

  • @d3nis307 i meant vitamin e oil and i forgot to say almond oil

  • Hi I am having the same issue except, seems like since I tried going natural in my skin care my face has been horrible. I can't use Olive oil, cocoa butter, or anything made with coconut oil on my face. I get instant pimples. I do like using lemons fro pimples and spots, but can't find a good way to cleanse. Even glycerin soap hasn't done it. I looked up ingredients and most of what i listed above are comedogenic. I'm still searching though...ugh

  • I love this song. What is the name of it? Thanks for this great video. I love that apple cider vinegar has soo many uses. the hair, skin, etc. Love it.

  • @RiAdxD96 You should try apple cider vinegar. It really helps to even out skin tone (I had the same problem and apple cider vinegar solved it).

  • Hi Wallotri! How were you able to order your green tea moisturizer lotion from greenbeaver's website? When I was on the website, I didnt see a specific number to call or a way to order my items online?

  • @BlackBeauT I didn't order it! I bought at my local natural foodstore.

  • can i just use aloe vera gel to moisturize my skin or does it have to be grape seed oil and green tea mixed together

  • @pinksaphire100 I wouldn't recommend using the aloe vera gel by itself 'cause it can dry out your skin. You can add an oil of your choice to it.

  • Hi Wallotri! It is just amazing how I get to watch your video. I feel like you are my friend though I haven't met you in person =) I have EXACTLY same acne problem with you when I turned 21! (on face line and forehead!) Guess what I just got better now not even one week yet when I started to go Natural just like you! I also drank green tea to detox my body nowadays and use it as a mask. I also use Castile olive soap. They worked miracle on my face within few days!!

  • @domoski2004 Wow! I'm so happy for you! I wish you all the luck in the world during your 'healing acne journey'. Keep me posted with your progress! ;)

  • Thank You for this video..very Helpful ! Your Complexion is Beautiful! I too have rather oily and sensitive skin that likes to break out here and there. so i have been looking for all natural products to try without damaging my skin. Plus i really want my complexion to be even!!so Thanx for the tip!

  • @BlackBeauT You're welcome! ;)

  • what do you mean when you say (tone) your face with rose water and (tone) your face with lemon juice what is toneing and how do you do it??

  • i know this is a year and a half old, but have you used african black soap? that stuff does wonders for me.

  • @expertonmyself: I'm trying it right now (it's been about a month) and I L-O-V-E I-T!!!!! I think I'll stick to it for good.

  • Your skin looks terrific sis! I will add some of this to my routine too! : )

  • @33Kellymc Great!! :-))

  • I don't think your skin was that bad to begin with! So jealous of your even-tone skin wish my skincare regime was just as easy. I have combination skin! I'm obsessed with having clear skin.

  • @werdtata Trust me: the state of my skin was really bad!!!!!

Thanks for the compliment though! ;)

  • @jlaurenlu

    Thanks! I appreciate :)

  • wow! thats awesom! i hav really baad acne.. i use natural producrs, bt gotta woch

  • omoge your skin looks good girl

  • Thanks! ;)

  • great video! thank you! I'm in the process of going all natural with my skin care. I'm so done with chemicals and crap. Thanks for the tips!

  • You're welcome! ;)

  • Cocoa butter or shea butter?

  • I use lemon juice as a toner as well! =) Ive always thought Shea butter wud be too oily to put on skin though?

Jojoba is good for acne as well..

  • I don't use shea butter anymore. With time, I've realized that it's a little too oily for my skin. But it can be very useful to use it as a night moisturizer (during winter only - very small amount though).

    Thanks for watching! :)

  • wow! thats awesom! i hav really baad acne.. i use natural producrs, bt gotta woch wot i eat!

love the song! makes it feel like summer and hapiness!! whos it by?

  • The song is from 2Face Idibia

  • Ya i am just about to start a natural skin care regimen myself. But i am going to use African soap...unrefined. I already use a natural toner just need a good moisturizer and something for my dark spots. This was a great vid!

  • hyy great video!..i have ance prone skin also buh i am now looking for a eye cream that wnt break out my skin..any suggestions?

  • i hate the acne that loves to congregate on my forehead and the dark spots all over its so irritating so I was using black soap(pure), then clean and clear advantage, it worked but i was tired of putting chemicals on my face so i use black soap(pure) then organic aloe vera gel(can also drink it). only been doing this a few days but i see small improvement.... so far.

  • wonderful!

  • wow i am just going through the exact same problem! i have also been using clinique for a year now and all the acne products i use just burn up my skin! i also have these horrble marks left that dont seem to go away so now i was advised to use only shea butter, go organic! glad someone else knows what it feels like ! :(

  • God is good! Because I started a natural regimen 4/5/09 and since then I have had amazing results...I use honey, evoo & aloe vera gel. 3x's a week I steam my face over rosemary water...to keep my pores from clogging...it really, really works!!

  • Wonderful video! It is so nice to see someone taking a natural approach to their skincare for once! I noticed you said you lived in Canada, where were you able to find the Lily of the Desert aloe gel? I have been trying to find this product for ages! Thank you for all of your help :)

  • Thanks ;)

I live in Montreal. I was able to find the Aloe vera gel at a a store selling natural products near my house. I think you can pretty much find it in any of these kind of stores. Where do you live exactly?

  • Thankyou for this...Ive been tryin to find a few natural products for my face. I started with a botanical face wash, face gel and Shea butter. which worked quite well... specially the Shea butter..Its amazing. But I still had a few probs with oiliness and finding a good toner. This video really helped me decide on some products I was thinking of trying (The Rose water and Aloe vera gel).

    Thanks again. :)

  • I loved this video! You give me hope for my skin (same problems). Thanks!!!

  • this is all true! i use black soap to wash my face and olive oil and shea butter to moisturize, my skin is really smoothe now and the blemishes are going away. I had cystic acne and the dermatologist recommended antibiotics and differin gel. Awful stuff. My skin type is oily. I'm even noticing the fine lines on my forhead diminishing. i'm going to add some jojoba oil to my elixir :-).. should we be giving out our secrets to beautiful african skin like this though?? .. lol

  • great to see this- i never thought of rosewater as a toner- i just started using a sheabutter facial cleanser and my face is looking much better

  • For the aloe vera gel, I use the brand 'Lily of the desert'. As for the grapeseed oil, you can buy it any supermarket or store that sells natural products. Just make sure you get the organic one. And as for the green tea lotion, I bought it in a natural store near my house, but I live in Canada. SO I don'T know where you could find yours. Just go on the site to have more info.

  • And for the olive oil soap, what's good about it is that it gently cleanses your face. This is good for oily skin, because it doesn't strip your face from its natural oils. In consequence, your face will not produce as much oil as it would usually does.

I wish you the best of luck for this journey! ;)

  • You're story is exactly like mine except my derm. prescribed retin a instead of differin. You're skin looks great! I really want to try this. What brands of the aloe vera, grape seed oil, and green tea do you use? Does the olive oil soap decrease the oiliness?

  • Tried the Rose water and I love it..bought it after your video. The one I bought is from Walgreens part Rosewater and Glycerin, made my face smell good.

  • That's great! One day, if you can, try to buy organic rose water. I'm sure you'll love it.

  • Hello and thank you for these advice.

I started the skin regimen that you suggested.

I am from Montreal, Where do you find your shea butter?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

  • I find my shea butter in a african beauty supply store called 'Ricom'. It's on St-Hubert boulevard (near metro 'Jean-Talon'). I don't know the exact adress, but you should find it in the Yellow pages.

Hope you'll enjoy this skin care routine. Give me some news! ;)

  • Great video! Your skin looks beautiful. I would like to know what song is that playing in the background and the rose water is that a concoction you makeup yourself?

  • The title of the song is 'African Queen' and the singer is '2Face Idibia'.

For the rose water, you can buy it in any store that sells natural products.

    Thanks for watching! ;)

  • hi wallotri, can u recommend other good songs like 'african queen'? =]

p.s. after using this natural skincare routine, are u expeirencing any breakouts?

  • Yes, I do get little breakouts once in a while, but it's nothing major. I think it's normal since my skin is experiencing a whole new regimen. And I have to say that despite the breakouts, my complexion is wonderful (I have a lot lot less blemishes than I used to, so my skin tone is really more even than before. I love it!).

As for the good songs...I think I'll get back to you on this one! ;)

    Thanks for watching my vid!!!

  • Ditto 2 the skin probs, I'm going 2 try ur routine.

  • That's a good initiative! I'm sure you won't regret it... Thanks for watching! ;)

  • Loved the video....your skin looks flawless!!!

  • Thanks for the compliment! ;)
