I want people to know what is happening so here's the deal:
These brilliant scientists (one of whom was thanked and praised in "Matrices and Vectorspaces", a renowned book from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden) took two rubber bands of Schwarzenegger-like strength and fastened them next to each other. Then they stuck a stick between the bands, spun the stick and finally let go. The stick's potential energy transformed into kinetic energy as the stick was released.

I can't even tell what is going on, but I love the background music -- it's the Kazakhstan anthem from the film "Borat," isn't it?! LOL! :-D
