you can find the recipe in my book published in Japan 10 years ago and a new book is coming out next year. I hope you could read Japanese!! actually, it takes about 90 minutes to make bagels.

I boil the bagel. I put syrup in hot water. It is a doughnut to fry in oil.

@BreadonBreadMania hi, where can i find the recipe ? how much syrup and water do you use ? and how come you don't boil them ? was that water hot, warm or cold ? and what temp and time did you use for baking ? they look really nice and shinny :)

Are you boiling in water or oil? It looks like oil. The bagels look wonderful. Makes me want to try it as well. Thank you.
