if you for example love the BRUTAL ASS parts from their last works ("city in the sea" will ALWAYS be my fav. song.. they used a edgar a. poe story as lyrics and the first 30 secounds are KILLER!)  like me..

than you should also know that NOONE could do something heavy like that ever again..

i think its great that they brought so much more melodie into their stuff!

cause it allows them to suck you in such deeper moods!

This shit is heavy, not so sure about a lot of the new stuff on Heliocentric.

It's more rock'n'sing now... I'm hoping the second half (Anthropocentric release late in 2010) will be the heavy half, as Proterozoic was the light(er, less condensed) half to Precambrian in 2007.

This is still a band that will still get you moving live and I'm pissed when or wherever they are missed! .

I think that was why it was disappointing, it wasn't the whole collective so they couldn't play their taller more complex songs. I guess I owe them a second chance especially since pre-cambrian kicks so much ass.

Get Precambrian. It remains one of my favorite fucking albums to this day. Rhyacian is one of my favorite songs ever as well! One of the most epic songs i've ever heard.

they are new to me, so far they sound much like the bands i love (ISIS,CULT OF LUNA). this is so much like ISIS's oceanic cd, very cool, takes time to get to teh climax of the song and then pow teh metal!!!!
