Man yall some deep back wood fucked up people. The longer you old bastards keep doing this, yall girls and boys gonna come to the city to be popular, like you say when they dont have to. GROW UP! WHEN WE U FUCKIN BORN? WAS I STILL A NIGGER?
I can't even hear what you're saying. You don't need to scream at people, you're obviously Satan. You're way of preaching is wrong Martin. WAIT I wasn't being serious there Martin. I was just trying to let you see how you talk to others. If this is your way of preaching, so be it. But don't say others are wrong when they worship their way, when you yourself preach like a madman, screaming all the time, violently. Its not the wrong way, but its not traditional, just like CRock. Disagree?
@TheSeventhCamera Not trying to be rude, but I figured I would check this and see about what you said about him yelling. All I noticed was the conviction in his voice, he believes every word he is saying, I dont personally think that he is yelling, anybody would get that way when they really believe in what they are preaching, I do.
I agree with the message but who are you speaking to. What I am saying is do you have to yell! If people don't get the message from you speaking to them like civilized adults speak to eachother then they won't get it if you are yelling either. I can't picture Jesus or the Holy Spirit yelling at anyone. Pro. 15:1; 25:15 Fluctuation in your voice is important but yelling is a little extreme. Jesus is knocking on the door to our hearts Rev. 3:20 but He's not pounding on the door screaming let me N
@martinthezman Again, I agree with you. How can men preach from the heart and not lift up their voice? I have heard many preacher who are very mellow and will put you to sleep. But I have also heard many preachers who lift up their voice with out yelling. Those same preachers have gotten the attention of the congregation by lowering their voice soft, and then lifting up their voice so it wakes up people who are sleeping. But if you are yelling the whole time it gets to be bothersome to the ears.
@shmily646 Matthew Henry: "cry as loud as he can; though he spend his strength and waste his spirits... He must lift up his voice like a trumpet... He must give his reproofs in the most powerful and pressing manner possible, as one who desired to be heeded. The trumpet does not give an uncertain sound, but, though loud and shrill, is intelligible; so must his alarms be, giving them warning of the fatal consequences of sin"
Monotone is the same tone all the time. We often look at that as being very mellow, but it can also B at a higher/louder tone. Neither of them R good. Even after I turned down the volume it was hard 2 pay attention b/c of the yelling. I'm not saying don't lift up ur voice. Yelling isn't the key 2 wake people up. Jesus lifted up His voice by not being quiet when it comes to speaking truth. Cry aloud & spare not doesn't necessarily mean to yell. There wasn't any crying if we r takin it literally.
@shmily646 Have you ever seen a preacher, preach as tears run down his face, as he warned people of their danger, as he warned parents of the danger their children were in? As he lifted up Christ as the only shelter from the storm of God's wrath? Can you imagine Jesus as he looked over Jerusalem, sobbing and crying out, "JERUSALEM! JERUSALEM! How often would I... But you would not!".?
Yes I have actually & it got their attention. But cry loud & yelling are 2 different things. It is hard to picture Jesus yelling at Jerusalem. But it's easy to picture Him crying. I was refering to Isa. 58:1, Cry aloud spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet... It's hard 2 sincerely cry & yell at the same time. & I believe this verse 2 mean don't spare telling people the truth, but point out their sin, not 2 scream it at them. Which is what I think Jesus did in the example you just gave.
@shmily646 John Gills commentary on Isa 58:1 " "cry with the throat" {d}, which is an instrument of speech; and it denotes a loud, strong, vehement cry, when a man exerts his voice, and as it were rends his throat, that he may be heard; as well as it shows the intenseness of his spirit, and the vehemence of his affections, and the importance of what he delivers; and this the prophet is encouraged to do, and "spare not", the voice, throat, or his lungs, nor the people neither he was sent unto"
From strongs exhaustive concordance: the word "cry"- to call out to (i.e. Properly, address by name, but used in a wide variety of applications) -- bewray (self), that are bidden, call (for, forth, self, upon), cry (unto), (be) famous, guest, invite, mention, (give) name, preach, (make) proclaim(- ation), pronounce, publish, read, renowned, say. "aloud"- the throat (as roughened by swallowing) -- aloud, mouth, neck, throat.
Just b/c a man says something in a commentary doesn't make it right.
Ah the choices one has to make. I mean if you really want to go "Jesus style" .. you have to forego modern society. That includes electricity, modern healthcare..
If you think that modern books and movies are the worst out there. Nah it is the hypocrisie within the belief itself. You are using a device produced using SCIENCE. The same science you are asked to deny by the bible..on another area.
Think about it.. think about how much you have to let go to be pure. Have a good day!
@masticina My dear friend, Modern devices like Televisions, Cell Phones, Computers, radios.. etc are mere AMORAL objects. They do not have a message of their own. What this sermon is about are not the "objects" but the message that parents are feeding their children through wicked Music, wicked Movies, and wicked books. Through wicked lifestyles and wicked entertainment. I warn you, what ever it costs to have your heart pure, it is worth it. For without a pure heart, you will go to hell.
So you agree that items them self are mere tools. Good good such at times is not understood by people. We are so easy to blame the hammer for hitting our fingers..while it is us swinging the hammer that did cause it.
Like any other time of the ages we lived in as humanity we have bad influences good influences. Sometimes we are blinded by the opinions of others about what is bad or good. I feel in the end we need to learn for ourself about good and bad. About choices and cons>>

@shmily646 The message was preached in a church with out a microphone. I don't know how men can preach from their heart and not lift up their voice.
Isaiah 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
